Monday, January 28, 2013, 4:20:40 PM- Remember the parking space bandit?
The young woman (see page 5) who tried to feign ignorance on NOT seeing the parking sign clearly marked for me? Well, she did it again. Not to me though. But I was there. She had pulled into a different space that was not hers. This space is right next to mine...lol. I was driving past her as she was getting out of her car. I rolled down my window and again said "pardon, but that is not your parking space" You could tell she was gearing up for the look.......that same stupid look she gave me before. Anyhoo, she turned around and had a simpleton look on her face and was about to say...."Oh I didn't know" But all she got out was "Oooh, I di" She saw it was me and stopped dead in her words.............lol..LORDY! When she saw it was me, her words went from "oooh I di" to "fuck!"......Of course she quickly moved. I do not care for women who purposely act stupid. Just be smart and get the respect you deserve instead of the pity you don't want.

The sky view from my bedroom balcony window. Soft White Cotton Clouds drifting across a Crisp Bright Blue Sky. It is serene in appearance yet screams at me to have a beautiful day. I hope everyone else is having a good day or did have a good day.

Saturday, January 26, 2013, 8:57:40 PM- A flashback and a smile
Sammiealice wrote a blog about being late in taking down Christmas decorations. It reminded me of bet between my dad and my Jr. High best friend. It was during the month of February and my dad still hadn't taken the holiday decorations down and Jill was making fun of him. He said that it didn't bother him one bit and that maybe he would leave them up a month more. Jill said what about 2 months? He said what about 4 months? They kept going...lol. Finally Jill bet him a $1 that he wouldn't leave the decorations up until the next Christmas. Well, my dad loved a good joke and even more so, would take bets proving others wrong. During each holiday that passed, the decorations of Valentine Day, Easter, 4th of July and Thanksgiving were put up AROUND the Christmas decorations.....lol. All for $1! A year later, there they were...wall decorations drooping, fake window snow cracked and peeling, strings of lights on the wall, burnt out down to one bulb....lol The lights were taken off of the tree, but do you have any idea what a brown, year old Christmas Tree looks like with all of the tinsel and garland still on? It's like putting lipstick on a pig.....lol. My dads sense of humor gave me laughter everyday. Have you taken a silly bet?

Saturday, January 26, 2013, 6:05:21 AM- My youngest wants a motorcycle.
If he completes the motorcycle riding/training and then a California sponsored safety course, I am fine with it. He is 26 years old and a responsible adult. I know that no matter how much training he takes, other drivers on the road have not taken the same training and there will be risks. Does his dad think it's a good idea? Not so much. This happens to be the same dad who has all of the parts to rebuild his own 1969 Honda back to mint condition, but won't rebuild it because then our son would take possession of the motorcycle after he dies. His Dad used to ride and so did I. So it is irritating that he doesn't support his own son or at least treat him like an adult. The Ex is my one of my best friends. I know darn well that parents (even divorced parents) will disagree. I also know that treating my son like the adult he is should come first and is more important than not having his dad mad at me. As someone who used to work in the traffic division in a prior department, I know what can happen. My son also knows what can happen. But statistically there are more riders that have not been in accidents over the amount of riders who have been in accidents. My sister G and her husband died on a motorcycle and one year, I crashed the one I was in control of. As much as I dislike it, I will support my son and let the anger of his dad take its toll and subside. I am a Mom. Part of my job is to support my kids and let them grow, expand, learn and take risks. I dislike it, but it's written in the book of life and cannot be edited.

Friday, January 25, 2013, 7:24:54 PM- How to stop a group of grown men from arguing?
Simple. While in the meeting, say: "Don't make me call all of your mommies and tell them you are being doodie heads" I guess "doodie heads" hit a nerve worse than "assholes" But it worked.

Friday, January 25, 2013, 5:51:23 AM- Youngest sons art
Like the Lennon painting I blogged, this is also created with the same technique of using spray paint. In person, the spray paint looks like an oil painting. This one is on wood, instead of canvas. My son has his own business. He creates to order, ideas of what his clients want. (**this is just the prototype for an order**) Proud Mommy moment

Thursday, January 24, 2013, 10:45:41 PM- Sometimes it just happens.
A soldier took his life last night. He didn't reach out or speak up. He knew all about the Intervention Team, but chose to go it alone. If he had just called us, the word "hello" would have been his saving grace. Sometimes it happens, just like that.
