My oldest son (age 2 just purchased his 1st new car. It isn't his frst car, this one happens to be brand new. The trouble here is that he hasn't owned a car since he sold his used car 4 years ago in order to buy books for college. Since 2008 he has been taking the train or the bus to and from the university. That set well with me because he could rest during the ride.

Now that he is on the road again....the worries begin all over!

Of course, being the Mom that I am and since my profession is that of law enforcement....lol. I emailed him the entire process of what to do in case he is in an accident.

In 2006 he was hit by a another person and my son was ever the kind man. Which bit him on the ass! He did learn his lesson and now he is even more prepared.

Anyone who has kids, old or young....you will always worry.

I'm not one to talk politics. I never have been. The old rule still applies in my world. Never discuss: Money, Politics or Religion. But............ there is one thing that comes to mind about this time. And it is: How people vote.

Reublicans, Democrats, Independants, The Green Party etc etc. The process of choosing is one of confusion, bias, anger and throwing in the towel. This is the time of year when people start to explain or justify who they will vote for and why.

Here are some of the reasons, explanations and justifications that I have heard so far.

1. A celebrity suggested they vote for a candidate
2. A family member told them.
3. Doing the eeenie meenie minie mo vote.
4. They are Republican/Democrat/Independant and therefore they will vote for their party out of loyalty and not what is best.
5. Choosing the lessor of two evils.
6. The looks of the candidate.
7. They use a Psychic.
8. Let a dog choose (no lie)
9. And last but not least, in alphabetical order.

Yes, alphabetical order. I nearly spit my water out when I heard this way of voting.

I vote from the heart and mind. Has anyone else seen or heard the weird ways in which people choose a candidate?

On the way to work this morning a guy did a California stop and cut me off (I was doing the posted 35mph speed limit) and when I honked my horn, he of course does the POLITE thing and flips me the bird.

Ok, no big deal. I kept my jovial morning smile as I watched this goober speed up on ahead, zig zagging thru traffic cutting other people off and on his way to a fire.

Here is the FUNNY PART!! After driving down the road, I approach the red light and to my amazement....IT'S the Finger Flipper right next to me in the other lane.

I motioned for him to roll down his window and with a smile on my face I said "I'm the one you cut off back at the stop sign, can I see that finger again?"

Was I angry or show any road rage? No, not me. I'm too goofy and dorky to get angry at rude people. I prefer the sarcastic and cute approach.

Well, posting pics is still an amazing and freeing experience. I am loving the perving on others more than the perving on my pics. Don't get me wrong....I love the compliments and do sincerely appreciate fellow posters looking at me. It's HOT!

4 years of working and traveling for work has kept me busy. Then add life, growing sons and moving several times for the job sure does make time fly.
