Gift PremiumOdd yet delightfully intriguing. Morbid yet very very sweet. Sarcasm is part of who I am.....deal with it.

Monday, January 14, 2013, 10:58:31 PM- Back to the drawing board.
Made another trip to the hospital. This time they took the necessary x-rays that were not taken Dec 26th. Why didn't they take them in the ER on the 26th? Hell if I know! Why didn't I notice? They shot me full of morphine, that's why....lol. Anyhoo, I just wasn't getting any better so I headed back to the hospital today, after a spill I had....*ugh*. Pics or it didn't happen? Of course I was silly and took a pic in the dressing room and posted it...*snickers* Not only did I have a set back with the prior injury, but over the weekend I thought I was coming down with the flu, because I was sick, feverish and chilly. It turns out that Sunday night I noticed I had been bitten by a spider (while laying in the grass on Saturday) Freaking spider!! He not only got me once, but twice! I guess he was hungry. I am happy that it wasn't the flu. The spider bite was masked by the pain in my back. That is why I didn't notice the bite until I was washing my back. After a trip to the docs, a couple of shots and x-rays later...all is well. I don't think I will take a picture of the spider bites. They are gross.

This is so worth watching all the way through. He's busting a move better than some adults I know. I guess performing is in the kids blood. I keep watching it and remembering my own sons when they were little.

This blog challenge will be titled "Let's Trade" Now it is a bit challenging. And that is why the game is called "Blog Challenges" I wonder just how many men will show us their feminine side? I am hoping the fun side will over take the fear............lmao. Guys, we would be laughing with you, not at you. We promise. Here it is: Women, wear something only men would wear or do something only men would do. This is easy for us. Men: Do something feminine. Wear a bra or panties (perhaps on your head), get a pedicure or manicure, maybe put on some lipstick and take a pic of your lips. Put a bow in your hair, take a bubble bath...lol. Anything feminine. Don't be afraid.....it's all in fun. This challenge is deviating from the list due to the weather some of you are having. The same rules will apply. Which are 1 to 3 pics posted in your blog and post the players names. We will play a week from now, which is next monday and tuesday. You have one week to get your challenge in order. Let's see how many men will have the balls to play....lol. Understandable if you don't..... Sign up below and Let the games begin!

Sunday, January 13, 2013, 3:29:07 PM- 2 am phone call
No, not an intervention call. One of my nieces calling to tell me that her boyfriend was arrested for a DUI. He failed the FST and his BAC was a 0.15 She hadn't been drinking, does have the ability to drive, yet she let him drive? I never could and can't understand how a sober person could get into a car with someone who is drunk. She got angry because I found no sympathy for this guy. 2 hours later, she still didn't understand why I didn't want to help or feel sorry for him. Oh well.

Where The Red Fern Grows. (the original movie is the best one) No matter how many times I watch it or read the book, the darn thing makes me cry.....always does. Always. I am still unable to go for my walks, so I am here watching old movies and weeping like a little girl *sniff* What "one" movie or book, makes you cry each time you watch it?

Saturday, January 12, 2013, 7:27:41 AM- My surroundings.
Those who know me, know that I love to create what surrounds me in my home. I have sold a few of my creations, but more than most, I enjoy giving them away to friends and family. Besides the mosaic table, I have numerous items that are of my own imagination. I'll share some more. This floral arrangement was made with a variety of flowers and yes, weeds. The egg shell colored flowers are made of shaved wood. The blue flowers are silk. I added the greenery, which is dried weeds found in the field by the ocean. The white filling holding up the arrangement is sand and sea shells from the coast of Big Sur. Thanks for commenting. I had uploaded a water color that wasn't mine. I have so many in my library that I pushed the wrong button. I won't take credit for something that I didn't paint. But I will tell the artist you loved it.........lol. I'll post my art later.
