Saturday, March 30, 2013, 4:54:47 AM- An email from my sister.
I just read an email from M. She is upset and wants me to call her. Evidently she has angered another one of my nieces. This niece also un-friended M on Facebook. Lordy! Because of this she is crying....lol. The majority of my family is on FB. I can guarantee you that if I had created a FB account, I wouldn't have accepted a friend request from any one of those nut bags. So I wrote a quick response to M's email: "Well, look at the bright side, It's only 2. There are still 40 more nieces/nephews (including great nieces/nephews) to go. It will take years for all of them to un-friend you" Yes, I am a brat.....lol Your point? I will call her in the morning. By then her hysterical crying will have dwindled down to a whimper.

Friday, March 29, 2013, 7:28:12 PM- I had very bad thoughts in a very good way!
On a lunch break from class. During the Intervention Course a Chaplain is involved and comes to speak about resources and guidance. I know this and really like listening to Chaplain R speak. Well, it wasn't Chaplain R, it was Chaplain Hottie Pants. WOW! Forgive me father for I was lusting in my mind! What happened to the older grey haired married chaplains? When did these muscular single chaplains start showing up? Do you know how hard it was to concentrate on Suicide Intervention when all I kept thinking about was tackling his cute little toushie and ripping his shirt off? Maybe I should go to the confessional and discuss the topic of Lust?...........lol Ladies? Back me on this......

Thursday, March 28, 2013, 7:01:33 PM- An interesting comment
During the round table discussion at the Suicide Intervention Refresher Course, the instructor had us do a various topic survey on Agree, Undecided and Disagree. It got a little heated when a guy made a comment about those who were "undecided" on their views about suicide being wrong. This particular guy (age 27) said to an older gentleman "How can you not know what you feel or think at your age, you said that you are 57, anyone your age should know by now" And then he basically insinuated that the older gentleman was a slow learner. Of course it could have reached hostile levels, but everyone kept their heads. Before we headed out to lunch, I over heard the older man mention the term "Young and Dumb" I don't like to use that term. No one likes to be pigeon holed or generalized. There are plenty of young individuals who are quite intelligent and just as many mature individuals who are dumb as rocks. I prefer to use "Stubborn and Ignorant" Stubborn in the fact that they won't budge on seeing the views that others have and ignorant in the fact that they lack knowledge and don't want to gain that knowledge through the the benefits of others. We all have views, but as time goes by and we age, views can change and lessons can be learned. As we age, we learn something new everyday. If we stop learning or refuse to learn, there is a risk that we become stagnant and unable to cope among the masses. My view is this: Once the mind is closed off, you smother yourself in ignorance. My two cents. (Okay, break time is over...TTFN)

Thursday, March 28, 2013, 5:19:16 AM- I wonder?
Each time we have refresher courses on Suicide Intervention and outlines for updates on suicides, I seem to get a few calls the same nights. It has been this way each time. I hope the streak is broken tomorrow and Friday. Time to buck up, get ready, prepare mysef and know that I will be drained at the end of the day. Hugs and kisses to all. I do enjoy all of you.

Tuesday, March 26, 2013, 9:01:33 PM- Little Miss "I didn't know this was a marked spot" got hers today
Remember her from previous blogs? She flipped her hair and stuck her finger in her mouth to feign innocence, one time too many. Her car was towed! It wasn't my parking spot that she was in, it was a directors spot. Can you picture me doing a "neener neener neener" dance?
