Thursday, March 21, 2013, 3:42:03 AM- Foot In Mouth disease
I was at work hanging some pictures on the wall outside of my office. A Captain walks in and looks around. So I ask him if him if he needs any help. His response "No Thank You Honey, I'll look for someone in charge" (lol.......tee hee) I raise one eyebrow, grin and say "Okay" Oh boy...YES I wanted to give a different answer but I didn't. He walked into the reception area and I could hear him asking another co-worker "Who can help me with policy and procedures?" Marcus says, "Oh, that would be Ms.*****. In they walk....lol......(this is good) Marcus said "Ms *****, this officer would like to speak with you about policies" My response?.....wait for it.........wait for it.......... "Have him set up an appointment and I will speak with him in a few days" It wasn't the term "Honey" that raised my eyebrow. I have been called Babe and Sweetheart for years. I don't mind those words at all. I'm a big girl. It was his dismissal and his assumption that was the bother. So in the end, he walked out on one foot, because the other one was in his mouth.

Wednesday, March 20, 2013, 5:08:04 AM- Avalanche
Anger will always test the will within you. Forget the anger of yesterday. If you weaken, it will become an avalanche of discontent. Destroying all in it's path. Replace anger with a loving thought. One flashback brought to the mind, soon turns to more, building the strength within you. A strong mountain relies on it's roots. Your roots are your beautiful memories of today and yesterday. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I wrote this after a phone call last week. A young woman had reached a point in which she was giving up. Her anger was blinding and she couldn't see past it. I had spoken to her much like what I wrote above. Not word for word, but close. There had to be a memory inside of her. One memory to halt the rocks that were weighing her down. She finally thought of many. I did quote my Dad during the phone call: xoxoxox "If you let anger dwell and pull you down, soon enough you won't have the strength to remember laughter" I know that life isn't perfect. We all know that. I just refuse to let it weigh me down. If it did start to weigh me down, I would have to go on a diet....and I like Tira Misu too much to diet.

The Wedgie Challenge was a success! Every minute of it was fun and disturbing. It is nice to know that we all have an inner geek! The variety of players and their imaginations always astounds me! You're the best! We should all do a happy dance for a job well done. There are still some wedgie players that need to be viewed. So please use the link and view those we have missed. http://bitly.com/bundles/rockhard6isback/4 I'd be sad thinking others were not viewed after so much hard work. Unfortunately some of the players had trouble and could not participate. Next time they will join us. **For Bettyswollocks...your wedgie was ....well......you know.

Tuesday, March 19, 2013, 1:26:26 AM- "Wedge It In" Blog Challenge
I love to swim or go to the beach. Basically just spend my time in the water.....especially during the summer time. I figured what better wedgie to show...but a wet one. Something very prominent in swimmers....lol Sooooo, I threw on a bikini bottom, got wet and stood in the sun coming through my window. But where's the sand? And of course any swimmer will have the prominent camel toe wedgie. But since I have a full bush, the wedgies aren't as large..........lol. But I tried anyway. During the summer I will create a whole new set of games for us....so be prepared! I will show no mercy....bwaaaahahahhaaa Check out all of the players: http://bitly.com/bundles/rockhard6isback/4

Teen running from cops picks wrong house for hiding nbcmiami.com.: By Gilma Avalos, NBCMiami.com After hopping one too many fences, a teen running from police in Florida met a neighbor willing to help him hide out. At least that's what he thought. On Monday just before noon, an off-duty officer standing in front of his home in Opa Locka, near Miami, noticed a teen running around his block. "He stopped, put his hands on his legs, trying to catch his breath. He says, 'I'm running from the police. Can you help me?'" the officer told NBC 6. The homeowner is a Miami-Dade Schools' detective, who did not want to be identified. "Sure I can help you." he answered. The teen hopped the fence and walked right into the friendly man's home. He jumped right onto the leather couch but failed to notice his surroundings. There are several pictures of the homeowner in uniform, and a police radio on the table. None the wiser, the teen started spilling the beans, telling the officer he had pushed his foster mother. "But he didn't push her, he beat her and then he ran," said the officer. In fact, according to an Opa Locka police report, his victim was 61 years old. She was found covered in blood. Her left eye was swollen shut. Once inside the officer's home, the teenager got even more comfortable. He took off his shirt and wiped the sweat off his face. He was so relaxed, he didn't pick up on the fact that the officer had been on the phone with one of his colleagues who works for the Miami-Dade Police Department. The homeowner spoke in police jargon to get authorities to the house. When the teen saw patrol cars in the front yard he asked the homeowner, "What are we going to do?" I don't know what we're going to do, but you're going to jail," the officer told him. Calmly, police cuffed and escorted the teen into an Opa Locka patrol car. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You can't make this stuff up! I wish all criminals would run right into police custody.

Sunday, March 17, 2013, 8:05:52 PM- My Walk Yesterday
The day was spectacular! Although it was chilly, it was still a great walk. Locals and Tourists mingling with one another on the beach and along the wharf. Kids laughing and running in and out of the waves. It was funny to see the Moms freaking out over their kids soaked clothing. Here is a little tip for you...if you are going to the beach, pack a change of clothes.......lol It was just a wonderful day watching everyone have fun. A few kids and their Dad constructed this Octopus Sand Sculpture. It was cute.....sand in their eyes, mouth and hair. But they kept building. I think the Dad had more sand on him than the kids did. I packed a lunch and had a picnic under an oak tree. It consisted of my favorite picnic fair....a cheese sammich, chips, peaches, grapes and ice tea. When I was finished, I kicked back and stared up at the sky through the branches. This time, I had a blanket with me...lol. As I stared at the sky I had a thought....hmmmmmmm? There were so many scents in the air from all of the greenery...and then it hit me. A few blogs back I had an idea to post the flowers I had seen along my walk. It has been years since I had received flowers from a man and so I had picked them for myself. That was going to be my topic. But a dear man had beat me to it. It seems he and I are on the same wave length when it comes to capturing our ideas or our thoughts. Whokens, Your blog brings me such joy and thoughts from travels past, along with visions that I would love to see in person. As I stared up at the sky while under the oak tree, one of my thoughts were of you. I decided to pick these flowers for you. Here you go Dearest Whokens. xoxoxox

Sunday, March 17, 2013, 3:31:42 PM- Personal Pictures not being seen in my blog
The personal photos I have posted are all blue boxes. I cannot see any photo taken from my camera, yet I can see all of the gifs, comics or pics I pasted on a URL from Bing or Google. Voy had sent me an email and told me that he could not see his picture from the "Cum See Me" blog challenge. So I looked at his blog and didn't see anything but a blue box in it's place. Then I realized the blue boxes were in my blog as well. I asked another NNer if she knew what was happening and she said that it was NNs cache. So far I have heard it is NNs problem or the problem lies with the servers I am using. Well, I logged in with 3 different servers...Bing, Reg Google and Google Chrome. The results are still the same....blue boxes where photos should be. So who's problem is it? Besides me and Voy, Who else is having this problem with personal photos in their blogs? I'd hate to delete all of those blogs...I mean why leave them up if no one can see the photos? If my personal photos are unable to be seen, then I don't know how this is going to fair with the blog challenge tomorrow.

Saturday, March 16, 2013, 4:37:28 AM- Another Change?
I know that it has only been 4 months since I began working in the position that I am in now, but things might change. A Sgt has asked me to apply for a position with the SHARP Coordination Unit. That is the Sexual Harassment and Unit. It takes up to a year to go through the process, so why not go for it? This area isn't new to me. I am no stranger (personally and professionally) so this isn't anything that I need to learn how to prepare myself for. One of the 3 scenes in which I participated in and taught at the police academy, was making sure recruits knew how to handle a scene/occurrence properly. The other 2 were: Child Molestation and Burglary. The big draw for why I chose my profession, is the ability to move around and learn so much. There are so many avenues and divisions available. It can always take you places if you let it.
