Gift PremiumOdd yet delightfully intriguing. Morbid yet very very sweet. Sarcasm is part of who I am.....deal with it.

Friday, April 24, 2015, 2:50:10 PM- It pays off............
All of my hard work, late hours, volunteering and lack of sleep will be worth it come July. My academy date has been set! After that I will be in line for another promotion. No more proving I can do the job and take over the investigations....I know that I can do it. But hey, you have to pay your dues. Right now, I am on the road to one of my all time favorite cities. San Clemente. I want to walk on the pier at sunset, eat at a cute litte sushi cafe, shop and browse the thrift shops. Those rich people throw some pretty cool things away...lol. I thought about reading blogs and catching up on messages.........buuuuuuuuuuuuuut I am off to San Clemente!!

Because I have taken off on another road trip and have been on the road since noon. What can I say, my itch for the open road has found me again. My knee is awesome! So why not? Tighty is back to her wandering self! Pics to follow. Hopefully some nude play along the way. Wish me luck! xoxoxo

Wednesday, April 15, 2015, 2:29:08 AM- Adventure blog put on hold......in order to bring you this.......
I went on one of my adventures last weekend, but that will have to wait. Today something made me very upset. I was sitting at a table next to the order line at the lunch counter. About 5 feet away were two young women and a little girl. One of them was holding the child's hand and seemed to be the girls mom. The little girl appeared to be 7 yrs old and was very adorable. Her smile and her freckles were heart melting. When they were called up to the counter to place the order, the little girl asked for a chocolate shake. Her Mom said "When you can stop wetting your bed like a baby, you can have a chocolate shake" Then this C U Next Tuesday began to tell the cashier about her little girls bed wetting and how she smelled all of the time. The cashier was mortified! Then the young woman's best friend chimed in and said "Only babies wet their beds, you should put a diaper on her to teach her a lesson" That poor little girl started to cry and then they both said "Yup, she's a baby" I stopped eating and threw my food away. It disgusted me to the point of losing my appetite. I walked by the women and under my breath, but loud enough for them to hear I said "You sicken me" I went to my car and just cried. I couldn't stop. I just felt so sorry for the child. I sat there picturing her beautiful freckle face full of smiles and then her tears. I felt bad that her life is probably filled with shame and hatred over a something so small. I was a bed wetter but had a very patient Dad. He would wake me up before he went to bed so I could use the restroom. He would wake me up in the middle of the night in order to get me used to waking up. At times he was too late. But that didn't matter to him. He would clean me off, put new jammies on me and change the sheets. I wet my bed until I was 9 yrs old and was never shamed over it nor was I made to feel as if I were lazy. Bed wetting is a bladder problem and isn't the fault of the child. It can happen to any child. My ex and I were both bed wetters so we knew that if we had children, one or more would wet the bed. Turns out, one of them was. But I treated him the way my Dad treated me and all went well. Soon one day it stopped and life went on. A child should not be blamed for something that isn't their fault or for something that is sometimes hereditary. Patience during a bed wetting phase and reassurance that it will go away in time, is the best way to deal with it. That little girl weighed on my mind all day. I hope that she grows up and keeps that smile on her face. I hope on all hopes that her pain isn't felt for very long. She touched my heart....that's all I can say.

Friday, March 27, 2015, 5:32:12 AM- Soon.....I will wreak havoc....lol
Feeling much better, but not 100% just yet. I have never had bronchitis before so I had no idea just how much it would take me down. Just to get it once would have been enough for me. But, when it goes away and a week later creeps back in.........? Well, it bites the big weenie, I can tell you that. I have been thinking of others and their well being while at work and have been wearing a surgeons mask. It's the least I can do. It's kind of odd wearing one...lol. It almost makes me feel like playing doctor, but I don't have any patients to play with...*snicker. I have been laughed at wile wearing it and have had some funny looks shot my way. Let them laugh and point. I don't wish to spread this around. But mostly, I have been thanked for protecting others. It would be nice of others would forgo their own vanity and wear them, but oh well you can beat considerate thoughts into those who are rude. There are many inconsiderate sick people walking around. I am not one of them. Hi Everyone! I hope all of you are well and happy. xoxoxo.

Friday, March 20, 2015, 1:21:45 AM- I have made a decision.
I am going to volunteer with the organization that helps abused spouses who are trying to get away from those who abuse them. I say spouses because it isn't just the women who need to run from their husbands. There are men who get abused as well. I have more news on this. A part of news that made me feel very good to participate in. More to come. Hugs to all!

Friday, March 13, 2015, 3:58:15 AM- Whew! Can you give me more time?
Yes, yes, yes....I have been busy. Jener made a comment in my status. He wrote "a rare sighting of TWL" lol...I know! Here is another rare sighting. Proof of life. And without make up to boot! How dare I! Trust me when I tell you that I'd rather be here, blogging my damn ass off and reading blogs like an insane voracious reader. I do soooooooooooo love reading the blogs. I won't even skip over the members I don't even know. Yes, I have been missing out. I cannot believe how much of my time is being consumed in this new position. Hell, when I was working in the __________ Unit and heading the Suicide Intervention Lines after hours in upper California, I felt like I had more time. How is that even possible? I am having fun but do feel as if time is lugging along. I am quite positive that once all of the training and the academy is behind me, it will slow down. So, do me a solid and give me some hints as to what is in the blogs that I am missing. Oh and while you are at it, tell me what's up with you? Is everything going well? Btw, I will update what is going on with my neeeeeeeeeeeew car! Pics to come soon.

Blind Golden Retriever 'Smiley' Warms Hearts as Therapy Dog. By GILLIAN MOHNEY A golden retriever named “Smiley” is living up to his name as a therapy dog who brightens the days of patients and nursing home residents in the small town of Stouffville, Canada. Smiley was born without eyes, but is still able to work as a St. John’s Ambulance service dog in Ontario. The dog’s owner, Joanne George, rescued the dog from a puppy mill, when he was about 1 1/2 years old. “He was very scared, [the dogs] had never been out of that barn,” George recalled, adding that Smiley quickly bonded with another one of his dogs, a deaf Great Dane named Tyler. “Tyler was so bouncy and crazy and happy go lucky and [Smiley] turned into the same dog,” George said. “He came out from underneath the tables where he was always hiding.” George said seeing Smiley interact with crowds made her realize he would be a perfect therapy dog. She now brings the dogs to hospitals and schools in the area and says the dog always brightens people’s days. She said at one nursing home, she realized how even a small visit with Smiley could make people happy. “There was this man Teddy, [he had] no speech and no other communication at all,” George said of one memorable nursing home resident. “[The staff] had never seen Teddy smile before.” It's a miracle that Smiley made Teddy smile, when no one else could. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This dog is gorgeous! I smiled and then it brought tears to my eyes. Such an angel and so full of life. He may not have the ability to see, but what he lacks in sight he makes up with personality and love. Tons and tons of love. I dare you not to feel anything over this precious dog.
