Monday, August 24, 2015, 1:21:31 AM- Getting back to what I enjoy.
One of my favorite hobbies is photography. I have dabbled in it for years. I had given away many of my photos, but when I was commissioned in 2012 by the department for some of my photos, it gave me professional status. I had put my hobby on hold when I moved last year and it has been hard for me to not carry my camera around. But things are about to change! It is time to spend my weekends and nights looking and discovering new sights. There is a reason why I am getting back to my fun. Today I received a text from a woman in Pacific Grove. She said that she was a friend of a friend and that she was interested in seeing some of my sunrise fog photos. I adore natural sunlight because it shapes the photo for you. It's a random draw on what the sun will show or hide. It can be a silhouette, a partial view, a surprise scene that you didn't notice in the lens or it can be abstract. You can never plan for a natural sun photo. The sun chooses it for you. I like that roulette will of photography. The fog photos are some of my favorite views. There you are walking along the sand and everything is dark and murky. The mist is dewy and sweet on your skin. But then the sun starts to rise and it becomes clear that a fight will ensue. Slowly and teasingly the sun parts the mist. The tease is warm and the fight between dew and light take on a battle of wills. The sun always wins out, like a lover fighting to kiss your skin as if it has been years since you last saw them. Anyhoo, back to why I am blogging. The buyer is interested in putting 4 of my photos in her office. Here is just one of the photos I am sending her. Taken in Santa Cruz, CA. 2013.

Sunday, August 16, 2015, 5:16:42 AM- Would you dare do this?
This is just the short version. The guy actually had 10 minutes air time. This is the softened version. His other gestures were even more graphic....lol There were a few things I wondered about when I saw this. 1. Was beer involved? 2. Did he really think that he would get away with it? 3. Is he banned for life? 4. How did he not keep from laughing? 5. Does he deep throat? 6. Does he swallow? 7. How old is this moron? 8. Is this an NN Member? 9. Does anyone know where Wodders or Topcat was on this date? 10. Is he single? I'm taking a guess that he is. I'm betting that if it was an NN Member, we would recognize him if he were naked. Which NNer do you think would have the large hairy nards to do this?

Friday, August 14, 2015, 2:11:27 AM- So excited!
This weekend I have an appointment to view an available beach front cottage. There are 3 other people who were invited to view it, so wish me luck! I do dearly miss the apartment on the beach from up north and want to feel the ocean air on my cheeks again. And not just the cheeks on my face.......*snickers*.......ooo la la!

Sunday, August 9, 2015, 5:44:36 AM- What a great lunch!
It certainly was worth traveling into Palo Alto before heading back south to see my sons. As you read down below, I was in San Jose for an appointment, so it was very easy and well worth the trip to keep heading 40 minutes more up the freeway to meet Pony. I had met my Jersey_Girl last year and of course it's wonderful to see her again. AmancalledPony joined us. He is just the most adorable and handsome man! He is also a sneak. He slapped my booty as I walked by him. Hey, who can blame him? It was there and he had to go for it! Jersey is a beautiful woman with a smile of gold. I could hug her til her eyes pop out of her head. I loved the smile on her face when I handed her the yellow rose. She is worth a dozen roses! JG is on the right, of course Pony is in the middle and I am in the pink/white summer dress (the dress that LonesomeDove69 voted for). Do you notice where Pony's hands are? He could have groped our boobs, he was so close.....lol. BTW, too bad I didn't snap a shot of Pony's legs....he has some nice legs! A good time was had by all! Hugs to you both!

Saturday, August 8, 2015, 2:15:15 AM- I has a boo boo.... :(
Last weekend I tried to get my blog pics up because I knew that I had a boo boo appointment today. My camera wasn't cooperating and the pics ended up looking like I had been in a circus mirror fun house.... *snickers* I'll get to them soon. Right now I am resting in a hotel room pampering myself and resting with room service. My boo boo appointment was in San Jose. Since I was so close to a few members...... I thought.........hmmmmmmm? Who can I see on Saturday? I know! Amancalledpony and my boob partner from another blog......Jersey_Girl! Yay me! Anyhoo, I had a lumbar block on an area that is still on the mend after a fall last year. And before she says it......Yes....TexAngel you can make fun of how clumsy I am. It's times like these I miss having someone kiss my boo boo's. Back to resting for my Saturday lunch with two wonderful NNers. xo

Tuesday, August 4, 2015, 3:09:33 AM- I will never view a tomato the same way again.
I guess my lime green crock wearing, God fearing, reckless driving sister was feeling a bit devilish. She sent me some pictures of fruit and veggies that look like body parts. One in particular caught my eye....lol. Sister M said this looks like Coco Austin's arse. I decided to compare it and discovered a slight resemblance. hhhmmmmmmmmmmm? Now of course I cannot share this bit of information with Sister M, but I can share it with you. By the way, I saw some food items that reminded me of some of you! Can you find fruits or veggies that resemble parts of your anatomy?

Wednesday, July 29, 2015, 1:58:40 AM- Update on Cecil: The Poachers have been caught.
And now the day of reckoning is on for the men who senselessly slaughtered the Majestic King. Besides the Poachers and the Guide, it was American Dentist, Walter Palmer of Minnesota who killed Cecil. Palmer paid the poachers and the guide the $50,000 to take him where the lion would be. All of the men involved have not denied slaughtering the lion. But their defense is that they didn't know Cecil was a protected Lion on the Zimbabwe Reserve. Really? Let's break this down. 1. They drove in the middle of the night on the border of the reserve and lured the lion away by tying a bloody carcass on the back of a truck. The bloody trail from that carcass is a big piece of evidence. 2. The land owner (Guide) knew where they were because he owns the private land that borders the reserve. 3. They tried to destroy the tracking device that monitors Cecil's every move. No tracking device means no finding Cecil. 4. They deny it was an illegal kill because the man who arranged it has a license. Yes, this is true. He does have a license and is a member of a hunting club. But he knew that he was not allowed to hunt on his own property. 5. Mr. Palmer states that he hunts legally. Mr. Palmer forgets that he has been convicted 3 other times for illegally killing black bears on private or secured reserves. 6. The say that they hunted with all due respect to the animal. Then why the truck? Why the bait? Why let the lion struggle for 2 days with a bow in it's hide before killing it? 7. Besides the Guide and Mr. Palmer, the other men involved are well known poachers who have been fined in the past for illegal hunting groups. According to officials (and I hope this is true) all of the men involved will be punished for this. In my opinion poachers like this should be shot. I don't know what they will do with the scum dentist, but he deserves to have his hunting license taken from him and his passport revoked. This man has a history of convictions on illegal hunting tactics in the US. Mr. Walter Palmer's day of reckoning is already upon him. He had to close his FB, his business web site has been deleted, he was xxxxxx turn off his phones, now has to deal with the citizens in his area, face cancelled appointments and face the wrath of PETA. Now hopefully he is indicted back to Zimbabwe for trial.

Tuesday, July 28, 2015, 5:16:48 AM- Cecil. He was Beautiful, Strong, Fierce and Proud.
Sadly, this glorious creature was taken in the most heinous way. For the life of me I will never understand why humans do this. Zimbabwe's most beloved lion, Cecil, killed by a trophy hunter. July 26, 2015, By Pete Thomas. MSNnews He was the King of Kings in his world and ruled the prides for over 10 years. A Zimbabwean conservation charity said Monday that a foreign tourist could face criminal charges after allegedly using a bow and arrow to kill a much-loved lion called Cecil. The lion, which was a popular attraction for visitors to the Hwange National Park, was shot outside the park two weeks ago by the tourist, who was reported to have paid $50,000 (45,000 euros) to the holder of the local hunting rights. Local media reports said Cecil, the largest Zimbabwe lion, aged about 13 years, was lured out of the national park with bait, was beheaded and skinned after his death. Upon being shot with a crossbow, Cecil did not die immediately. The hunter followed Cecil for 2 days before shooting the lion and then had taken his head as a trophy. Police and Zimbabwe Parks Authority both declined to comment on the allegations, which were made by the Zimbabwe Conservation Taskforce. "We are still to establish the name and nationality of the hunter who is from Europe, but we believe they are likely to face criminal charges," Johnny Rodrigues, chairman of the charity, told AFP. "We've got allegations that $50,000 exchanged hands between the hunter and the concession owner. We have not got confirmation yet." Park authority sources said the hunter, who was released after questioning, was thought to be Spanish, but some media reports said he was American. His whereabouts are not known. Emmanuel Fundira, president of the Safari Operators Association of Zimbabwe, confirmed that Cecil had been killed in a hunt. "An iconic lion was shot and killed. This is a real loss to our tourism industry and it has caused a lot of anxiety," Fundira told AFP. "Cecil was collared, indicating that he was selected for research purposes. "He was popular with visitors to Hwange National Park who were fascinated by his black mane and always wanted to know his whereabouts." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I read this earlier in the morning and it had me distraught all day long. This is just not right! Cecil wasn't shot to protect a human life, he wasn't shot because he was injured, or because he was too old to be a successful part of the breeding population. Cecil was shot so someone could have the glory of killing an exotic animal and having it's head and hide mounted on the wall. I am not against hunting if the meat is used and the population needs to be thinned for safety purposes i.e., deer, some geese, etc. This was just plain evil and cruel greed. It's sad, so very sad. I hope that Cecil's legacy lives on in the many cubs that he sired.

Wednesday, July 22, 2015, 5:26:56 AM- Phone call with Big Sister M.
My nephew in Florida is moving back to Oregon, so I decided to call Sister M and get the update. She never disappoints me...lol. Me: Hey there Crocker. Sis M: *she laughs* I'm not wearing them right now. Me: Suuuuuuuure you're not. Hey, when is G coming in? Sis M: I spoke to him last week, well not a week, more like 8 days? 9? Was it 9? 8?...let me see, I was in the garden last week, but he couldn't have talked with me then, cause I didn't have the phone with me....hmmm? Me: M? Sis M: It must have been last week because I remember running my errands to the new market, omg! that new market is just amazing! It has....... Me: M? Then she went off on a tangent about what was in the new market, its size, the workers, the prices and then all of a sudden she rambled on about her plants in the garden, Martha Stewart and that lead (again) to the new market and of all things, the parking lot..lol Then she started on some rabbit because the carrots in the market reminded her of rabbits. That little penny sent her off in another direction about her neighbor because it just so happens her neighbor has a rabbit. Sis M: (after rambling on and on she took a breath) And the bunny is soooooooooooo cute, I want one. Me: M, M! I have to go Dave Navarro is at the door. Sis M: Who? Dave, who? Me: Dave Navarro, he's at my door. Sis M: OH! (she exclaims) are you dating now? I'm so happy! Tell me about him. Me: Yes M, I'm dating Dave Navarro and I will be going on tour with him and Jane's Addiction. Then he's going to tattoo my entire body. Sis M: Oh you're teasing me, you're such a noodle. Me: After all of these years you still can't tell when I'm yanking your chain by the inflection in my voice? Sis M: Tell me more about Jane's Addiction. It sounds like one of them rock bands. I could get a bunny and name it Jane, isn't that a cute name? It really and I mean really hard not to laugh at and with this woman. After all was said, she never did answer my question as to when my nephew will be moving back to Oregon. I'll just call her next week or maybe in 8 days, 9 days.....lol....who knows. And speaking of Bunny's, I think that I will send her the clip of Monty Pythons Flying Circus that shows the bunny attacking the Knight. That should scare the shit out of her.

Monday, July 20, 2015, 5:43:03 AM- This girl is on fire!
If you work hard, you get what you want. No one can ever tell me that I haven't earned what I have. No one can ever tell me that things were just handed to me. No one can ever tell me that I don't deserve the best that I provide for myself. No one can ever say that I don't rise to an occasion and trek on. Am I spoiled? You bet'cha! I have been spoiled since I was 18 yrs old. By the ex and then for myself. I deserve it because it doesn't hurt anyone else and because I will give back in life what is given to me. I get tired from working so hard, but that is what I am supposed to do. My life is up to me now and it has been for a number of years. Would I enjoy being taken care of? Why of course, who wouldn't? For now I do what has to be done as an adult and take care of me, myself and I. I will be moving again because my hard work is paying off. Word seems to have traveled fast about my career capabilities and dedication to what I do and life is taking me on another adventure. And all of you know how much I love adventures!
