Gift PremiumOdd yet delightfully intriguing. Morbid yet very very sweet. Sarcasm is part of who I am.....deal with it.

Saturday, January 4, 2014, 6:59:37 PM- It's Lego Saturday!
My love for the Hummingbird is endless. This giant Ruby-Throated Hummingbird magically hovers 8 feet in the air as it feeds out of giant flowers. The sculpture took a team of Lego Lovers over 4 weeks to design and 5 weeks to build with 31,565 LEGO pieces. The sculpture was installed in April 2012 at Reiman Gardens in Iowa as part of my traveling exhibition, Nature Connects. The sculpture and 26 others will be traveling the United States in 2014. The designer and master construction engineer is Sean Kenney.

Saturday, January 4, 2014, 4:30:26 AM- Flashback to the night of the accident.
Picture this. There we were in the ER waiting for permission to see my sons fiance. As my ex (father of my boys) and I sat there, he leans in and whispers "I wonder just how many germs we are sucking up in here? You better hold your breath" So I whisper back "You know how long I can hold my breath, I sucked your cock for many years" Man did we laaaaaaaugh!!! Anyhoo, we sat there for hours inhaling the germs. Even when we were allowed to go into the exam areas, all four of us were taking in and sucking up those wonderful germs. Well here I am, right on time for the incubation period for the germs to manifest in my system. You guessed it..I am sick. On Thursday morning I woke up with a sore throat, fever and nose/chest congestion. DAMN EMERGENCY ROOM FULL OF SICK PEOPLE!! How dare they be there! Meet my happy lil germs. This is how I picture them. Today at work I was trying to do my job and assist others, but it wasn't quite the same. It's hard to be taken seriously or take control when you have a funny voice, can't breathe, hack your lungs up every few minutes and you can't say your T's, N's or various other letters important for proper annunciation...lol. That sounds pretty doesn't it? This too shall pass. Unlike men, I won't die from this.

I wonder how many people purchased this contraption? I am guessing that thousands of people did. I know for a fact that consumers are pretty dumb. I can honestly say, that I have never had this problem. So riddle me this? How do you get rid of the white marks left behind from the thing you inserted between your ass cheeks? Hhhmmmmm?

Friday, January 3, 2014, 5:50:15 AM- My walk on New Years Day.
During my walk, I thought about what is ahead for me. What I might or might not do. I have a few interviews lined up and hope for many more. I like what I do, but I want more with my career. I am going to attack this year! It's time.

Thursday, January 2, 2014, 8:11:27 PM- How long?
A visitor to the office walked in and said "Happy New Year" to everyone. When she left, one of the officers brought up an interesting debate on how long must we hear those words. How long past January 1st do we say Happy New Year to others? What is the expiration date on that sentiment? A few days? A week? Your thoughts?

1. Both New Years Eves when I felt my sons kick inside the womb. 2. 2007. The last New Years Eve I had with my Dad. We played his records and sang all night long. 3. 2009. I was living in AZ at the time. A friend from California showed up unexpectedly and surprised me with a visit. I hadn't seen him in over 4 years. It was a night that I won't forget. Friends are special to me and he is still in my heart. 4. 1991 into 1992. I rang in the New Year with my very first DUI Checkpoint assignment. Now that was one hell of a night! What a rush!! 5. 1980. I was with all of my sisters and my brother. We discovered that you can actually get sick to your tummy from laughing so much. Especially when the topic for the night was our Mother....lol....good times! Do you have a favorite? We all do. Our emotions won't let us forget about them.

The can joke around too. They have a dangerous job. Many times, they never know what will happen late at night. They get to learn cool stuff, like the Fish Tail Maneuver. They get to laugh now and then. They are big softies sometimes. Just a little bit of what happens.
