Gift PremiumOdd yet delightfully intriguing. Morbid yet very very sweet. Sarcasm is part of who I am.....deal with it.

Saturday, April 20, 2013, 5:15:13 PM- Just listening
Last night it was my turn on the call roster. At 0100 the phone rang. All this caller wanted to do was cry. He spoke for a bit, but then asked me to just let him cry. He could have cried for those 2 hours in the privacy of his own home, but he wanted to know that a he could cry in front of someone else and not be judged. This man was not weak, his job does not allow weakness. I gathered he was crying because he had been strong for far too long. The neanderthal belief that men should suck up life's traumatizing moments are ancient and should be buried. There are times when men cry and should cry. I find no fault in that.

Out of the blue gifts make me cry. Guitar you are a very thoughtful and wonderful man. Thank you so much for the smiles....the great big smiles. The hummingbird is my favorite bird, so it has even greater meaning to me. xoxoxoxo

lol........he did it! The guy who owns the gas station in which Sister M drove away with the gas hose, actually ran her card number and tried to charge $237.00! The bank called M. and told her about the suspicious charge. M. explained to them what had happened and now the credit card people are filing a fraud report on him....lol I hope the son of a bitch loses his business license for a while, or at least his permission to use credit authorizations. M. was already on the phone with my niece *the attorney* in Boston.

"Cowards" Billboard Lights Up Boston Skyline in Wake of Blasts ABC News, National News: Katie Kindelan; Reporting. Courtesy IBEW Local 103 Less than 10 miles from the finish line of the Boston Marathon, where three people were killed and more than 170 injured in dual blasts on Monday, stands a billboard with a one-word message: “Cowards.” The billboard, located off the I-93 expressway that crosses the city, belongs to the local chapter of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) union. The chapter, Local 103, usually uses the billboard for union-related and community messages but that changed Tuesday morning, less than 24 hours after the two bombs exploded. Since then, the electronic billboard had rotated every 10 seconds between the “Cowards” sign and another that reads, “Pray for Boston.” -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What a perfect word for the ones involved. I agree with the sign. No more needs to be said.

Wednesday, April 17, 2013, 8:34:03 PM- Sister M just called
It isn't that bad. Don't roll your eyes....lol. She was pumping gas and it seems she forgot to remove the fuel hose from her tank. Yuppers! You got it! She had no clue that she had driven off with it until some drivers got her attention at a red light. Since she couldn't keep it or take it home...lol...M returned it to the gas station owner. Here is where I am proud of M. She used her brain. Evidently the middle eastern owner of the establishment was telling her that he would have to charge her for the damages. So M reminds him that his business insurance pays for those kind of mistakes. Then she points out that it is a break-away-hose connection. So there are no damages. As she was walking away he screamed at her and told her that he has her credit card information and will charge the damages. Ooooooh and it get's better. M turns around takes out her phone starts hitting the buttons and says to him "I will just call my daughter "the attorney" and see what she has to say about that" I will admit that I have driven away with a hose still attached to the car. But I was 23 not 64. And it wasn't a break away....lol. It ripped the damn side of the pump off...lol.

Wednesday, April 17, 2013, 4:08:14 AM- He cared enough to get the car fixed? How thoughtful
6-year-old takes his dad’s car for Chinese food. By Mike Krumboltz | The Sideshow – Mon, Apr 15, 2013. Law enforcement in Lapeer, Michigan, had an unusual run-in on Saturday morning. A six-year-old had taken his dad's car to go pick up some Chinese food. The Detroit News reports that concerned witnesses called the the cops to report a car that was driving erratically. The paper reported, "They told police when they called that it looked like a 6-year-old was driving the car," said Sgt. Andy Engster of the Lapeer County Sheriff's Department. "And they were exactly right." Police responded but not before other drivers boxed in the young Chinese food enthusiast with their own cars. One of the civilians then reached into the six-year-old's car, turned off the ignition and (wisely) removed the keys. The boy told police that he had taken the keys from the counter and that his previous experience behind the wheel was nonexistent. "He said he'd never even sat on his dad's lap to steer the car or anything," Engster said. The boy also told police that he had hit a street sign near his home. After seeing the damage, he figured he needed to drive to the car dealer for repairs. It was unclear if the boy was planning on eating first. Also unclear: How the boy planned to pay for the food, much less the car repairs. The police spoke to the boy's father, who was asleep at the time. "He didn't even know (his son) was gone" Engster said. An investigation is ongoing, according to the Detroit News. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank God no one was hurt! But I did have a 2nd thought on how the lil man was caring enough to want to go and get the car fixed. Hell, most teens would just deny the dent...lol. His need to take responsibility for his actions are commendable. Future responsible adult or future car thief? You make the call.

Monday, April 15, 2013, 11:05:22 PM- Let's Score!!
I have been been around sports since I was a little girl attending boxing matches at the Los Angeles Forum, the Rams, Dodgers, Kings and Lakers. From there I found a love for everything sports in other states. Texas and New York also have teams that I enjoy watching. There are so many fond memories from the Season Box Seats...one of them was getting asked out by a Dodger. Then came the races...motorcycle speedway and nascar. Surfing wasn't until I was 18. After that, Golf slowly trickled in. Soccer I will watch if Beckham plays. Tennis not so much. Liqour in the front and poker in the rear. Right now I am playing Guitartxn. I am down to a blouse and holding a Royal Flush. What do you have, Guitar? In this corner we have Tighty the Titalating Terror!! Let's get ready to ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmble! Even as a little girl, boxing has been my all time favorite. I still look forward to a good match. I love L.A.! Goooooooooo Dodgers! Heeeeeeeeeeey batter batter batter...saaaaaaaaaaawing batter! I love this team! And not because I almost became the wife of one. I attend when I can, but for now my season tickets have been passed down to my sons.
