Gift PremiumOdd yet delightfully intriguing. Morbid yet very very sweet. Sarcasm is part of who I am.....deal with it.

Tighty Airlines is ready for boarding. But be careful, I do a better job of searching your body than TSA would. I plan on offering cavity searches. Before I boarded my flight, I had to go through the search area. TSA didn't care about my credentials so they strip searched me anyway and just left me with my map. I made do with it. My journey of a life time would be to see Ireland. One day I will make it there to find the ancestors of my father. Of course I always have to get my fix of Texas. My home away from home. My love of all loves. There isn't anything I don't love about Texas. As you can see, I am removing my Rodeo Skirt in order to get comfortable. But of course I will leave the Ropers on for two-steppin. Please make sure to visit the other travelers! Sunday, May 5, 2013, 6:03:34 PM- People come, go, or stay...there are reasons for this.
I was on the phone at 0315 this morning. The caller was sad over losing someone in her life. Her sadness was that she regretted getting into a relationship with a man who hurt her. We talked about what were some of the good things he showed her and how those things may have changed her life. There were some and she said she would remember them. In my thoughts, you should not regret anything because it is a lesson in life. He may have hurt her, but there are reasons we are hurt. It makes us stronger. We chatted and afterwards I sent her to the necessary authorities. I just checked in and she did contact the people I sent her to.

In June I will be attending a Formal Ball. After weeks of looking, I have found the dress that interests me. I adore retro fashions and the style of dresses from the 40s and 50s. This is the one or something very similar in which I will wear. Man oh man, I remember before the internet....lol......spending hours and weeks of driving from one place to the next looking for the perfect gown. Now it is a matter days on the internet and no wasting gas....lol.

Saturday, May 4, 2013, 6:40:54 PM- She had lost the war and the battle.
During my walk I sat down to rest. There was a family having lunch on the beach. A Mom, Dad and two kids. The little girl kept kicking sand and the Mom kept saying "Stop kicking the sand, don't make me tell you again" The Mom was on her 5th demand of "Don't make me tell you again" when I started to laugh. Then the Mom made it worse by saying "We are going to go home if you don't stop" This Mom had no clue that not only had she lost control, but she had also become the puppet and the daughter the puppet master. Her authority was at zero percent. These kind of parents are worthless when it comes to instilling responsibility and respect in the kids. The little girl wasn't hurting anyone and wasn't kicking sand at anyone, but that isn't the point. The point is, the Mom made vacant/empty threats and did not hold up to her warnings. In turn her daughter was given the impression that Mommy was full of shit. I grew up not getting spanked. But there was still a firm hand and I was disciplined with extra chores or restrictions when I didn't listen or caused trouble. When my Dad asked me to do something, it was only asked that one time. He was what you call a quiet disciplinarian and didn't yell. With my own sons, it was: 1. Ask, 2. Warn, 3. Discipline. My own sisters are guilty of the "Vacant threats" and it is funny to see their kids ride rough shod over them. They may be family, but unless a child is being abused, I will not stick my nose into another persons parenting tactics.

Go ahead and be selfish: May is National Masturbation Month [Source] Topic: National Masturbation Month; msnNOW.com 1 day ago Dim the lights, drop some Barry White onto the turntable and spend some quality time with yourself. May is National Masturbation Month, so it's totally cool to take that guided tour of your own pants. Adult toy store Good Vibrations started the trend of May-sturbation in 1995 after then-Surgeon General Joycelyn Elders was fired for suggesting that masturbation should be taught in school. (And why not? Most of us will use that info more than we'll ever use trigonometry.) The month ends with a Masturbate-a-Thon in San Francisco. "I tell people that it’s like a walk-a-thon, except at the end your feet don’t hurt … unless you masturbate in a very unusual fashion," sexologist Dr. Carol Queen said. I don't know about you, but every month is Masturbation Month for me. Ladies and Gents have fun playing with yourselves!

Thursday, May 2, 2013, 7:11:22 PM- Ups and leaves.
I was just reading the news about the Pennsylvania mom who up and left her kids and ventured off to Florida with a bunch of homeless people. Evidently her amicable divorce 11 yrs ago scared her. Once she disappeared, the Daddy of the kids stepped up to the plate and raised the kids. He lost his job, his home and started all over again. Not once leaving the kids. Eventually the missing Mom was deemed legally dead. He married again, but still, that Dad made sure his kids made it through life without a hitch. Years ago, I blogged and made mention of my Mother. She wasn't the most stellar mother in the world. As a matter of fact, other than the two weeks out of December during Christmas time........the woman sucked! I can relate to these kids. When I was barely 11, my own Mother up and left in the middle of the night. My Mother and Dad weren't going through a divorce, so it caused my Dad to always wonder why she left. I didn't know where she was or why she left. My Dad did, but he shielded the kids remaining at home from her. Eventually I found out that she lived 2 cities away and yet she never called. I didn't care if she called because when I was growing up, it was miserable and I didn't want her hatred. My Dad was the best Mom and Daddy a man could be. And I let him know that each and every Mothers Day. I do not dwell on how cruel my Mother was. My Dad always said "Hold a grudge and you hold a heavy heart" Did I cry? No. Why? Because I cried when my Mother was around and was kind of happy she had left. I didn't hate her or let those feelings enter into the mind. Hate makes a person look ugly. Life went on with my Daddy and it was great! It sounds to me like the Dad of the two kids who were left at such an early age, may have been the same kind of Dad I had. He made sure his kids entered universities and graduated. Like the Mother of these two kids, my mother showed back up into my life 10 yrs later. I treated her kindly because I was raised to be respectful. Because, after all. Grudges create a heavy heart. She was a my birth mother, nothing more. My curiosity over this story is high. I am sure they are relieved she is alive, but a bit apprehensive because she shows no emotion towards them. To this day, I thank my late Dad for helping me be the woman I am today.

Thursday, May 2, 2013, 5:40:39 AM- Sister T called.
Now this is my sister T. Who is very much like Sister J, but not as bumble brained as Sister V and Sister M. But still worse off than Brother E. Sister T: I just put my next of kin into my phone for the police to call in case I die. I think you should do the same. Me: So who is it? Sister T: U. (her eldest daughter) Me: And what did you put beside her name to designate U as the person to call? Sister T: Hello? I put U-Daughter. Me: And the cops/doctors are supposed to know this is the next of kin how? Sister T: Hello....She is my daughter. Me: (lol ...dear lord) T? Why don't you go a little further and put "Upon my death, call U" or "When Dead Call U" Sister T: That isn't right. They would start out with me dying. It would freak U out to get a call telling her I'm dead. I will stop here because my hysterical laughter made her angry and the conversation ended right there. I always wonder why these goofballs keep calling back for more torture and sarcasm.
