Gift PremiumOdd yet delightfully intriguing. Morbid yet very very sweet. Sarcasm is part of who I am.....deal with it.

Sunday, June 16, 2013, 7:39:08 PM- He was always there.
My Dad was always there when I was a child and when I was an adult. I could always count on him for words of encouragement, big hugs, a great smile and loving support. No matter what time of day or night, my Dad was a phone call or a drive away. Even when kids move away, the parents job is not over. He made that very clear to me. He was my Mom as well as my Dad. So every year, I would buy him not only a Fathers Day Card but a Mothers Day Card. He deserved both of them. He was there for me from the day I was born, to the day I flew the coop and beyond. When he got sick with dementia I did not hesitate to be his Mom and his Dad. It was time for me to be there for him, no matter the time of day or night. I was proud to be able to show him that I learned from his example. My Daddy passed away in 2007. But I still wish him a Happy Fathers and Mothers Day. Each year I buy a bottle of his favorite cheap champagne (and boy is it cheap..lol) and toast the man who raised me with his laughter, optimism, humour, love, intelligence and confidence. I am strong because of him. Happy Fathers Day to the Dads on NN. Happy Fathers Day to my Dad.

Sunday, June 16, 2013, 7:07:43 AM- Great time!
I got home about 30 minutes ago and put my feet on ice!........lol. I danced like a freaking Mo Fo! I had the rhythm in me baby!! White people can dance you know. The DJ didn't play any country songs, so I was a bit pouty about not getting to two-step, waltz or line dance. But oh well, I still got my groove on to the rest of the songs. The speaker was pleased with the portrait and that made me happy. A few people liked my work and asked if they could call me. My date for the night was a Naval Commander. He looked very dapper in his dress White Formal Uniform. It pleased me that he was a gentleman and that was a comfort to me. That last thing I wanted or needed was to get mauled. He wasn't much of a dancer but he did enjoy the slow dances. During the other fast songs my partner was a Major whose wife didn't know how to dance. But she was a good cookie about me taking her hubs out on the dance floor. Everyone at the table got along. That is always important during functions like this. It can be such a bummer when someone at the table is grumpy or stuck up. I sooooo enjoyed it all. Cinderella is tired and off to bed.

Saturday, June 15, 2013, 6:03:29 PM- My latest creation
A portrait of the Big Sur Coast and Mountain Side. It will be presented to the speaker of the Ball I am attending tonight. This is a very popular site for photographers because of the Historical Bridge. One of these days I am going to get a camera with panoramic capabilities. I would go photo crazy if I did. I was such a perfectionist about cutting the mat, that my blades were worn down by the time the evening was over. The plaque was easy. They didn't want it submerged into the mat.

Saturday, June 15, 2013, 6:12:11 AM- What a day!
The phone didn't stop ringing and it felt as if thousands of people wanted my attention all day. Luckily there is enough of me to go around. It is a great feeling when you love what you do on the job. I finally picked up the retro gala dress. It isn't the one I had originally found, but hey......when you miss one thing, another appears. I went in another direction and found a 1940's circa dress. I love it! This Cinderella is ready for the ball. Spent a few hours putting together a portrait. Remember my trip south? Before I left on my holiday, my boss had given me a Panoramic camera in order to get a lengthy shot of the coast and the famous historical Monterey County Bridge in Big Sur. I Just finished mounting and framing it. He will be presenting it to the speaker at the Ball as a gift. I was side tracked earlier. Tonight is my night to carry the phone just in case someone needs help. I spoke with a man who said he was feeling down and just wanted someone to listen to him. He talked for 42 minutes and then he felt better. I told him that if he wanted to talk again, to just call and I would pick up on the first ring. Now it is time to relax and enjoy a sigh of relief. It is time to jump into bed, pull the covers up and crack open my encyclopedia of serial killers. A gift from my son.

Alias: Guitartxn. Known Habits: Playing with his wood. He cannot help himself. Distinguishing Marks: Cute lil dimples on his cheeks (not the facial kind) Manner of speaking: Country/Southern Charm His sweet mannerisms are a ploy! If found contact your nearest NNer so he can be brought to justice for trying to scare poor Safire13. He also tried to implicate me in his crime. Me? **looks sweet and innocent** Can you believe it?!!! His punishment should be a severe wet noodle spanking. We will need a jury of his peers. Volunteers?

Friday, June 14, 2013, 2:35:26 AM- Why I like NN. .
TWL. This has always been my name...always will be. Due to a job I had taken out of state, I left NN for a little over 5 years. It's very hard to visit this site when you are traveling around chasing down the dregs of society....lol. But once I settled back into a non-traveling position, it was time to renew old friendships and meet new people. It was culture shock because the once little site of NN had grown, multiplied and changed beyond belief!. I quickly settled back in and well........you have seen it....remained the goofy woman that I am. #1 reason. I like NN because I am a nudist. Always have been....even off of NN, my life is lived in the nude. I am shocked that I don't get into trouble over it...lol. I'm serious! It is a comforting feeling knowing that I can post what mother nature gave me in a comfortable amatuer setting. **NN is not an escape for me. I can find a bunch of misfits on the job......lol and in my family. But as misfits, this place works. I don't come here to hide. I come here to laugh, post, chat and explore. I like to keep in contact with those I have missed and find new people to drive crazy. *I like NN for the diversity of members from across the U.S. and various countries. Young and old, they are here. Straight laced all the way to the bizarre. From Pig Headed to the down right humble and sweet. All of these personalities are good. What ever you want, NN has it. And that is cool! **I like NN for it's community feel, yes...NN is a community. People come and people go. Some people return and it is nice to welcome them back home. **I like NN because of the things you can learn from the different cultures. **I like NN For the multiple places I can visit. The forum, chat, status, the galleries of pictures.....and YOU KNOW ME........THE BLOGS! The blogs section is where I spend most of my time. To see the various bloggers is fantastic! I get to visit places with all of you. The blogs can make you laugh, cry, catch up on funny news, hear music, see the lives of others, get a dirty story now and then and see someone vent. I could keep going but you get my drift. Although people ask this question off the cuff in status and in the forum, not everyone goes into status or the forum, so please....even if you have never blogged, now would be the time to share a bit. Please take a moment and write a few written words, sentences or paragraphs be shown for morale sake. She and the rest of us, challenge anyone who reads this to take a moment and think of what you enjoy about the site, the why of why you sign in? There are 2 rules to keep in mind. 1. keep it to what you like, with out being rude or taking jabs at others or complaining about things. 2. That when you write your blog, you challenge others to do the same and write what they like about NN. This is the Chain Letters of Blogs, but in a good way. No one has to pay any money or fear retribution or bad luck if they don't reply. Do your thing and follow Toys request. Toy is not stealing my blog challenge, she just wants to bring us all back down to earth.

Thursday, June 13, 2013, 5:52:45 AM- Ride'um Cowgirls!
Well....maybe not. *snicker* I rode a mechanical bull a few times when I used to attend the PBR. Maybe that's why I am the way that I am? I shook loose a few marbles.

Wednesday, June 12, 2013, 5:26:57 AM- Running for my life....lol.
I was on the phone with Sister M. She told me that she was sitting in the park watching her grand kids play. M then observed other kids playing. Evidently they were siblings because their Mom kept telling them to play nice or she would take them home. These kids were pushing the younger one off of the slide, off of the jungle gym and was dragging her through the sand by her legs. M began to laugh and said "Do you remember how we used to want to kill you all of the time" I mean she laughed so hard (and as reds put it earlier} that she was barking out loud with laughter. lol......hahahah. Well I admit I was laughing with her and having a good time reminiscing over the torture I endured. Aahhh child hood memories and running for your life. Memories, light the corners of my mind. Misty watered colored memories of the way we were. Scattered pictures of all my injuries back then, from the sisters who tried to kill me.....that's the way they were.........lol ok, so it's not how Barbra sang it, but it's close.
