Saturday, June 22, 2013, 4:33:25 AM- Really? Are you freaking serious? (my words earlier)
Last December, when I fell in the shower...Remember that? Well I had injured myself so badly and the pain was so great, I clenched my jaw with all my might. I clenched it so hard, the socket disc slipped out of the right side. I have been living with the pain since then. I'm not a whiner, so I won't go into the details of it all because that is my pain....not yours. Anyhoo, It takes a specialist to perform the procedure of pushing the disc back into the socket. Since December the insurance company has tried several ways to avoid the surgery and have sent me to other doctors to fix it. Even though the first specialist said there is only one way to do it. Sooooooooooooooooooooo I am right back at the very first doctor...lol. BUT GUESS WHAT? The insurance company has approved the surgery!! YAY! BUT, GUESS WHAT AGAIN? They denied the anesthesia for it!!! WTH? Yuppers! I thought WTH too! I couldn't take my anger out on the medical assistant. It isn't her fault. So I smiled and just spoke of my disappointment. Riddle me this? How does one have surgery on the jaw socket with out anesthesia? Hhmmmmmmmmm? A local shot won't do because of the nerves surrounding the socket. So now after all of the ordeals, the doctor won't do the procedure. I can't believe that I have to fight for something that is typically needed for surgery? This is the new medical insurance peeps! We have gone back in time to the dark ages where leaches are used and blood letting is back in fashion. It may hurt like hell, but I am still smiling and laughing over the lame ass decision. Life goes on. *walks away shaking head*

Thursday, June 20, 2013, 7:13:33 PM- Think about it........heels and gravel....gravel and heels
If you walk on rocks in high heels, what are the odds of you falling? Pretty high!!!!! I saw this woman taking a short cut (not a sidewalk) across some gravel in the garden. She fell, got up, wiped her knees, brushed off her pants and had the look of embarrassment on her face. I admit it, I kind of giggled....lol. Not at her fall, but at her own stupidity. She knew that I had noticed her falling and as she walked by me she says "I should tell the grounds crew to put up a warning sign" Oh yes, I went there! (did you expect me not to?) My reply; "Like what? "Your lack of common sense is not our fault?" lol....oooh she called me a bad bad word. I wonder if she kisses her kids with that mouth?

Thursday, June 20, 2013, 5:48:34 AM- The heavy heart
Our hearts feel heavy when we are in pain. This is because when the heart breaks, it creates a cavern that gets filled with our tears. But, a crack can be mended, a break can be fixed and a cavern can be filled with something other than tears......they are called "smiles"

Anal Bleaching. Why? Does it tickle? What are the benefits? Where are the training classes for those who want to learn? How much does it pay? Is there hazard pay for those unsuspecting moments? I like to keep things light around here at work...lol

Wednesday, June 19, 2013, 5:51:37 AM- Double Public Service Announcement.
When licking an envelope, don't run the paper too close to the corner of your mouth. Paper cuts hurt so much more around the lip area than on your fingers. Later on, don't forget about the paper cut on your mouth and eat pickles. Seriously, don't. Go ahead and laugh.....if you do.....may a bug crawl up your leg as you sleep.

Tuesday, June 18, 2013, 5:12:57 PM- Patience: After all, she is my sister
Sis M called me here at work. My assistant says "You have M on the line" I think ??????. I start off with asking her if everything is alright because no one calls me at work. She must have tried so many times to call the cell, which by the way is down in my truck. Anyhoo, everything is okay. *whew* What was so important? She was getting ready to run her errands and her regular bike has a flat, so she wanted to know if using the bike she has for 2 riders would look funny. Of course I did the rolling of the eyes, the tossing of the pen in the air added with the palm to the forehead. Me: M, just strap one of the girls stuffed animals to the back seat. M: Noooo, don't be silly. I will look funny. Me: M, you wear rolled up jeans to your knees, with polka dot socks and over sized neon crocs and 4 sweaters... trust me, you already look silly. M: I'm not wearing crocs today, I'm wearing sandals with my striped socks. That folks was the emergency to call me here at work. Which by the way, break time is over and I am off!

Tuesday, June 18, 2013, 5:40:31 AM- Well here I am. The Cocktail Dress.
I have been asked and I promised to blog the dress I wore last Saturday Night. It wasn't the dress I originally put on hold at the vintage shop. The other one didn't fit my boobs.....lol. So I found this 40's era cocktail dress. I love a simple black dress. The best part about choosing a dress for dancing is how it swirls and twirls when you make your moves...*tee hee* And boy did it! You cannot see it clearly, but the dress is satin and velvet. Underneath is fluffy crinoline...ooo la la. Believe it or not, my favorite part about this dress, is the collar. It is wide and gets wider in the back and dips down. God I am a goof when it comes to this stuff.....lol These are the shoes that I selected. It was fate that the dress I bought matched perfectly to the Patent Leather Heels I had in my closet. I love these shoes! And I wore my former mom in laws brooch. She gave this to me when I was 18 years old. She wore it in college to her prom. It's was given to her in the 1930's. It means so much to me. And I cherish it. I had a great last weekend! Another Ball is coming up in October and I have already been asked to attend. YEAH!

Monday, June 17, 2013, 5:00:50 PM- Those are hairy stockings? What will they think of next?
Hairy stockings keep pervs away, insists odd social-media post [Source] Trending topic: hairy stockings; msnNOW.com 2 hrs ago An image reportedly going viral on Sina Weibo, China's answer to Twitter, will send pretty much anyone — woman, man, gorilla — looking for a razor. The pic shows a pair of legs of difficult-to-determine gender with a full, furry coat of hair stretching from thigh to ankle, where a pair of contrastingly nonhairy feet emerge. "Super sexy, summertime anti-pervert full-leg-of-hair stockings, essential for all young girls going out," the social media poster writes, according to a translation offered by China trend watcher ChinaSMACK. Surely it's a joke, right? Please? Commenters remain intrigued. "Essential for the subway?" wonders one. Others are unimpressed: "If it has come to this, why not just wear pants?" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What will they think of next to make a woman appear unattractive? ?Eu De La Barf? Tell me guys? Do hairy legs detour you from being with a woman?
