After asking a billion questions I asked him to do a right click and tell me the properties of the pic.

I had to boot a reg because the subject wouldn't be droppeed and then got a billion prvs trying to explain what happened.

Happy 4th my american friends!!

Yeah it was the bi annual cleaning of the junk cupboard and in the process my desk as well. They kinda over flow into each other.
Now that school is out for the summer the desk was easy. All of those so called important papers don't mean shit now, out they go!
The cupboard was a lil more interesting.
There were cables in there that I know were important at some point in our lives (or they wouldn't have been there)
But damned if I know what they belong to now.
Garbage all of them. Wanna place bets that I will need one urgently tomorrow?
Papers, papers and more papers. Many of them I did need to keep untill recently but they got mixed in with the crap and have all been filed in the big green bag with the exception of a very few must keeps.
I am ready to start hoarding again, I have the space!!
The rest of my house is a total disaster but I can give you a tour of my junk cupboard if you'd like

Happy Canada day fellow canucks! I had my bbq party last night so today has been spent cleaning up and just chilling. We do have sparklers to play with after dark and there are always lots of fireworks around.

in Toronto is happening now. It will culminate with the big parade tomorrow. One of these days I will get a chance to go, it looks like SO much fun.
An interesting and I think positive thing, I just watched a one man 2 hr stand up "comedy" movie about growing up gay in the suburbs of Toronto way back when I was a kid.
This movie wasn't on some obscure channel in fact is was on the largest television network in Canada. It was a light hearted look with a few serious overtones about what it might be like growing up gay in a suburb to make it a really interesting and sometimes hilarious movie.
Without sounding sappy or condescending I am proud that people are free to show their pride in my neck of the woods.
I need a date and a babysitter so I can go next year,
any volunteers?

SAD, seasonal affective disorder. I suffer from this huge!
You would think that during the summer I would be drawn to the light when in fact it is the total opposite.
I need light and I crave the sun and yet I am drawn most to the dark of the woods. I feel most at home under the canopy of trees.
To me there is something, comforting, I guess, that I get from the trees and something terrifying about being totally exposed to the sun.
Beneath the canopy of leaves enjoying the beauty around and above me is the place I am the most content.

a time of new beginnings and summer is supposed to see those new beginnings to fruition.
Not so with the school year. Late spring and early summmer is a time of endings. There is always so much nostalgia at the end of a school year and so much hope again in the fall.
A very bright spot for me and my son.
A teacher I have a huge amount of respect for is coming back to his school. She is the one that was instrumental in getting him the placement he needed and she will be back in a capacity to help again!
Schoooooooooools out for summer!
School is never really is out forever, I am going back in the fall too!
In the mean time I will enjoy the lazy, hazy days of summer.

We had a ton of fun! My neighbour came over and flashed us all a few times
What can I say, that is his thing, and it wasnt pretty.
The next day I was suffering from post party distress syndrome. I had so much fun I felt lost.
I don't know how many of them I will keep in touch with, one for sure and another most likely even tho we are very different.
Today I had exactly 2 hours alone time. Alone time for me is rare but my friend took the kids to an airshow. It all ended with a huge storm which left us without power for several hrs but you know what? I love that. It is always fun to say OK we have no power I think I will just go and do whatever only to realise you can't cause you need power!
All in all it was a good weekend and I have a ton of calls I have to make to follow through with some of the stuff I learned and recieved in the course.
