so im gonna cook the turkey that has been taking up all the space in my little freezer.

as i was getting into bed last night i noticed it was a little on the cold side (its a waterbed) i assumed the thermostat got knocked somehow, so i turned the temp up and checked the plug all was well, so off to dream land i went. that didnt last long i kept waking up cold, if you have ever slept in a cold waterbed you will know what i mean. well i finally hauled my ass out of bed thinking im going to have to replace the heater, which means draining it etc, but thought id have one more look. somehow the plug that goes into the thermostat had come loose. Its plugged back in now and im hoping the bed is warm again by tonight.

i havent been up this early in 2 months!
im on auto pilot till about noon i think

yes it was a movie but that isnt what is motivating me. well i guess it sorta is. talking with a very good friend of mine tonight, and im still and will continue to be amazed/shocked at the thought of skin tone being a "reason" for hate. yes culturally we may be different, but really when it gets right down to it we all ARE, there are many countries in this big world of ours...
why cant we be friends?

So Gandhi always walked around with no shoes on so he had really rough feet.
He is also renowned for his hunger strikes that made him very skinny.

but as blogging is getting more popular im finding that i am missing more and more blogs. i read blogs evey morning and have to start at the bottom of the list so i get as many as possible in before they dissappear.
im wonderinging if its time to have the list upgraded to the 100 most recently updated.
am i alone?

The Canadian National Figure Skating Championships
What I saw:
the pairs and mens finals, competing for berths on the olympic and world teams.
The way i viewed it:
I cheered for my favourites and enjoyed the performances.
What my son saw:
Skates chewing up the ice.
The way he viewed it:
NEED equipment. 1 hockey rink (you know the kind with the players on sticks) and one dinky toy garbage truck (it was the closest thing to a zamboni he could find amongst 4 billion cars and trucks, gotta rip the players off of thier pegs and toss em, goal posts have to go too. there are no people or nets on the ice when the zamboni is working. proceed to make zamboni like noises through each performance and then whine loudly during the commercials cause they should be showing the zambonis.
Look our olympic federation! if my son has his way zamboni's will be a new sport in 2013
