cut thru all the red tape! everything is now going according to plan, and I get more money than I expected!

Here I sit stuck in the house. I have been trying to get this woman on the phone for 2 days now, i have left 3 messages, how tough is it to return a call? I thought id get smart and go down to her office and corner her there (her voice mail said she was in the office today between 8:30 and 4:30). I got there and asked for her, no sorry she has been off site all morning. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. The receptionist told me she would be back within the hour, so I said I will try calling her around one. NO she is on lunch between 1 and 2, sigh. So I left a message with the receptionist and will attempt to call her yet AGAIN in about half an hr. Normally I am not in such a rush but i need her to give me some information TODAY or everything will be screwed for weeks.

a frustrating set back getting the emissions test for the car done, i wont bore you with the story lets just say they wouldnt even take it in to be tested. I did have a wonderful day!

Yesterday I began my life as a single mom. It isnt going to be easy, it will be a huge challenge but one I think I am ready for.

Unless you are canadian you probably wont understand this holiday, so a little explanation from the beer drinking great white north.
The third Monday in May is officially Victoria Day, a day to celebrate Queen Victorias birthday (May 24th, dunno if thats the real date but thats when we celebrate) however in typical Canadian fashion we celebrate this weekend as the official start of summer. The highways heading north to cottage/camping country will be packed today.
What better way to celebrate summer (winter, fall and spring too, but this is a special weekend) than with beer! Beer typically comes in a case of 24 commonly known as a two four.
I think you see where this is going, we celebrate the birth of a dead prudish monarch by heading into blackfly infested areas and getting falling down drunk.

On another note, after spending the day in agony yesterday my heating pad turned up. I'm feeling much better, though still get twinges, so I am going to take it easy for a few more days.
Did any one notice i am actually starting to use capitals and punctuation? I learned to type in chat, not the best place but it got my speed up, now its time to finesse.

that with the amount of time we spend talking about food on this site, chat, blogs etc, that it would be cool to have a recipe section in the forum. Easy access to all the yummy things you have heard about rather than wracking your brains trying to remember who blogged that.
