Gift PremiumOdd yet delightfully intriguing. Morbid yet very very sweet. Sarcasm is part of who I am.....deal with it.

Sunday, November 10, 2013, 5:28:26 AM- Finishing up the White Wall.
It took me a while to decide on which photos from Santa Cruz to create for my White Wall. I simply love a romantic black and white photo. But not all pictures look good in B&W. Yes, I am picky and stubborn...considering my ride to Santa Cruz was a few weeks back...*giggle* It took me this entire time do decide which ones to take to the printers for the B&W creations. I wanted 7 pics in B&W to round out the colored and the muted photos already in place. There are only 2 pictures left to mat and frame. It is almost complete! Once completed I will show the finished product. After this project is done, I want to create some new lamp shades. But who knows! I could see a shiny penny and go off in another direction. The Walton Light House. Built in 1964. No one ever lived in this light house. It was cared for by technicians. By the time this light house was built, most of the light houses in California had stopped paying people to live in and run them. This light house can stand a quarter million pounds of wave energy. WOW! The original and very first Santa Cruz Light House. It was built in 1852 but was changed into the Santa Cruz Surf Museum in the 80's. It was dedicated to the surfers who have lost their lives surfing in the waters around the cliffs. This is just one pic of the cliffs down below the surf museum. I have pictures of the other cliffs in which surfers jump 25 or more feet, into the waters below. It isn't unusual for any surfer to do this. All along the coast and into San Diego, you can find surfers catching that thrill. Thank you for visiting! xo

Saturday, November 9, 2013, 4:18:01 AM- A white lie.
Earlier today, I was putting gas in the truck. A man had pulled up in one of the frozen meat trucks. He was a salesman and was of course asking customers pumping gas, if they would be interested in the steaks that he was selling. He says to me "Well hello there little lady, from the looks of the stickers on your truck, you're country and must enjoy a good steak" I responded with "No thank you, I'm a vegetarian" I could have just said "no" But I didn't because I have encountered the meat or fish salesmen before. They are relentless! I drove away feeling guilty over a white lie. It would have been cool to shoot him a sarcastic remark about his 'enjoying a good steak' comment, but I was busy and on my way to an appointment. White lies? Good or bad? Do you still feel guilty after you have made one up?

Friday, November 8, 2013, 5:14:13 AM- A little bit of weird trivia....lol
A human bladder holds only 16 to 18 ounces of urine and it takes a man a minute of more to pee. It must be all of the ball and ass scratching they need to do or the numerous "hit the stain" games that they play....lol. Sorry guys....I couldn't resist.

Thursday, November 7, 2013, 7:13:31 PM- Nightmares
Man oh man, it has been a loooooooooooong time since I have had a nightmare. I have weird, funny, bizarre and scary dreams, but they do not fall into the category of a nightmare. It was a chilly night and I was sleeping with the blankets pulled up to my chin. I was sleeping on my side with my back to the bedroom door. I heard a slight noise and opened my sleepy eyes just a bit and dozed off again. Then something tapped me on the shoulder. I opened my eyes wide and was shaking. I held my breath and didn't move. They/It tapped me on the shoulder again. I still didn't move or say a word but just hid under the blankets pulled up to my chin. After tapping my shoulder three times, I heard a deep and raspy voice whisper "Look at me" My heart was pounding! Tears started to well up in my eyes and I was trembling. After ignoring it and hoping that it would go away,...again.... it said in an even deeper and booming voice "LOOK AT ME NOW!" I then whispered "If I look at you, you might kill me" It said "I'm going to kill you anyway" I FREAKED!! and woke up to the sound of a damn cat yelping. Son of a bitch that made me sweat like the dickens! I was bug eyed for hours after that. Like I said, it has been so long since my last honest to goodness nightmare. When was your last nightmare and what was it?

Wednesday, November 6, 2013, 5:52:33 AM- I didn't believe one thing that they told me.
Your eyes were closed and you couldn't see me. Still, I was there. You knew that I was smiling down at you. They told me you could not feel anything. Still, I was there. Holding your hands and kissing your forehead. Some believed that you did not hear me. Still, I was there. Singing to you and telling you how much I loved and adored you. Your mind was gone they said. Still, I was there. In your dreams. Hugging your neck and giggling as you taught me how to swim. Letting go and walking away is what they said was best. Still, I was there. You knew I would stay until your last breath. I didn't let go. There wouldn't be any emotion when the time came. Still, I was there, when the last grin on your face faded away. My Dad was there when I was born and provided guidance and love during my entire life. The best and most rewarding feeling that I have ever felt, was being there with him when his life was ending. I will forever cherish the love that we felt for one another during our last moments together. We shared it all. Life, Living and Death. I know that he knew.....I was there.

All of you rock! It's true! I swear it! Now hurry up and go to your nearest mirror and repeat what I have written. It will make you smile. It's true. I swear it. Monday was awesome and now it is time to do a little dance number as I brush my teeth. Oh, admit it. You do a lil jig in front of the mirror too.

Monday, November 4, 2013, 7:47:05 PM- A room full of men and one woman.
The beginning of the week is always a pleasure for me. I get to sit among a group of men and listen to "Man Talk" On Mondays there is always a brief on information for what the week will hold. It usually starts with the most important agendas. This is what this mornings meeting was about: 1. Which sports teams won and lost. And the explanation as to why. 2. Which cheer leading team had the over all largest amount of boobage. 3. Who had the biggest home improvement job to accomplish. 4. Which guy macked on the most women over the weekend. 5. Who ate the most chips/salsa and chili in one sitting. 6. #5 leads to the next conversation, but since it deals with a bowel movement...I won't repeat it. 7. Who lost the most sleep due to the time change. 8. For the married men, it was whose wife nagged him the most. 9. Who spent the most time at the gym and has the biggest guns. 10. The less important stuff was last. Like scheduling, officer stats and what was on the emergency blotter over the weekend. Men, gotta love'um. My days are filled with their silly asses and boy oh boy am I always entertained. I wouldn't have it any other way. Does anyone remember the series "The Man Show?" I miss that program. Well, I live that program in my career...lol
