when it is a dreary grey kind of day but everyone is enjoying the weather and smiling at each other. For the first time in many weeks the temp has gone above 0c, just yesterday morning it was -20c. People are out walking everywhere, wearing just light jackets.
I had to go get some groceries and with VB's grilled chicken salad still fresh in my mind I was hungry!!!
Not to be out done I have to show you the sammich I am having for lunch.

I finally have snow real snow!!! And it's still snowing The busses have been cancelled, I could still send the kids but what the hell they want to stay home and play in it. It is 8:06 am and my son is on his way out the door to play now.

nothing new there really, except many of us have been affected by cancer. The thinking is, how hard is it to not cut your hair for one full year? 10" of hair is all it takes in order to help make a wig for a cancer patient. I probably have at least 4" of hair I can spare now, more if I went for the brush cut I have had in the past. I am willing to look like something out of deliverance to help someone feel better about themselves. Any one care to join me?

If you are a parent you have or will go through this at some point, if you aren't a parent I am willing to bet you remember your days of fundraising for various things you wanted to do.
The biggest joke going is selling chocolate. Why? Because the kid is given 60 choc bars to sell and is very enthusiastic for the first hr and a half or so. Ok so that is 10 choc bars sold. For the next three weeks they drive you insane to buy the choc bars for them to eat cause damn they are yummy!! Then you essentially end up paying for the trip/club/uniform, whatever twice.
Anybody want to buy a choc bar for a good cause?

For much of our lives we have tried to fit in/defy categorization and yet here we are on NN forcing ourselves into a "slot" for pic genre. Making us take stock of ourselves and trying to decide where we should put our pics so that others find us in the correct category. Guys not so much mainly because there aren't as many categories for you to chose from. But ladies , good lord we have options!

Artistic?? What the hell is artistic on an amateur site?
Some think taking an ordinary pic and making it black and white, or at the worst negative, artistic.
We all want to fit in/stand out.
I tend to always post in mature women mainly because over 40 is who I am, I really have no idea if my pics belong in a different category. I tried posting in tits small once and was hollered at.
