I want to enjoy my time here again. But there are certain things that bother me more and more on every return. Partly because I'm getting louder as I get older. Partly because I'm used to more freedom and control elsewhere.

SO once again there are a couple of features that I think really hurt the site by being behind a paywall. In my opinion, everyone should be able to moderate the comments on their own posts. There also should not be a block limit. Limiting control in these areas can easily lead to safety concerns. Even if it doesn't escalate into something ugly, some of us just don't enjoy certain types of comments. It makes it far less fun to post when I have no control over the words being left on that content. I don't know of ANY other platform adult or not that has these features behind a paywall. I'm fine with basically every other feature that is behind it. But I find it difficult to want to stay here when my comfort and safety are not priorities.

New disappoints include seeing AI "art" being shared here. No less gross than content which used to be a huge problem. That could boil down to personal taste so I would say it's damning just disappointing and a turn off. Not being allowed to be loud with your values and beliefs though? YIKES. I plan to still try to stay for a while but these things are really taking away the excitement for me.

Totally agree any platform should allow you to block anyone you want or control comments in your publications, and even more so if it's one with adult content.

Thank you for speaking up about this. I'm relatively new and I've also had some concerns about the block thing. Chat is advertised as the go-to feature but I rarely go on there because I can't control messages coming from very aggressive men in pvt mode (sorry not sorry guys). The safety features that are in place are in improvement from the old days but I don't like that so many people scoot by without even profile pics much less verifying the ID.

And AI art? That trend better get squashed quickly or it'll get out of hand.

All valid points. I've deleted a few comments with membership. That should be free. There are ways to limit who can see you. That cuts both ways. So blocking is essential. Ai has its place. It isn't something to pass as real. Unfortunately that's how it's being used. People suck and being in a safe, comfortable to express outselves is a wonderful thing.
