Tuesday, February 4, 2014, 6:52:23 PM- Trucks and cars...
I saw a poll on Yahoo last weekend that stated that women think guys are sexy when they drive a truck. Second in their opinion was if they drove a sports car. SUV's were down at the bottom of the list... sedans even beat them out.
Men thought women were sexiest driving a sports car, followed by sedans. Women driving trucks barely beat out SUV's.
Not my opinions, just passing the knowledge along.
I got my car back today and it runs like a dream. After driving an old pickup all weekend, the ride felt like a luxury car, too. lol
It's turned out to be a good Tuesday so far, even if we are predicted to recieve 5 to 10 inches of snow in the next 24 hours.
I'd rather be driving my front wheel drive car instead of a big, burly 4 speed truck when it hits.

This song is not everyone's cup of tea. A friend sent me the link. I love this song... used to listen to my Dad sing it with his bluegrass band and would sing along in harmony with him at home.
There are several other versions by some really big names. Pick your fav!
Someone took George Carlins' 'Football and Baseball' and added a montage of football hits at the end. Kind of stresses the point of how violent a game football has become.
I played all sports growing up. Had my bell rung a few times playing football, was put in the bleachers playing basketball and was hit or spiked (we actually wore metal spikes way back when) several times at baseball games.
I've noticed how over the years football has grown in popularity nationwide at the same rate that our violence-level and obsession with seeing violence has grown.
At my age I could still play a little slow-pitch softball. I don't see any slow speed football games around. Hell, half the guys in the NFL who are retired can barely walk or have serious concussion issues.
I still watch both sports in season. But if I had my choice, you can take me out to the ballgame and leave the football for those who want to hit something/someone.
Hearing the word Grammy's always makes me think of my late Grandmothers. But that's not important. What IS important to me is having Ringo Starr and Sir Paul McCartney performing Sunday night. In honor of this, a song from each. First, Ringo:
