Standard Operating Procedure on the Internet.

One: meet someone new.

Two: Heap praise on one another about how nice you are - i.e. "You're the BEST. No, YOU are." etc.

Three: Have that long talk where you bare your souls to one another.

Four: Start the pulling away process when you find out this other person is not your cup of tea - i.e. "I've been busy... too busy to answer your messages. Sorry!"

Five: Gradually fade from conversation.

Six: Become just a memory - i.e. "I wonder whatever happened to?"

I have been accused by those close to me in the past of being Mr. TooMuchInformation. I think that's true... I try to be open and honest with people about my life. BUT... I know that the experiences I've had are a lot of times too much for others to handle. My life experiences DO tend to freak people out! lol

THAT is another story for another time. I don't mind waiting... I've been waiting all of my life. wink

You have some good points there. I am still on the belief system that the internet makes life harder than it does easier.

Hi tight, I agree and it's sad because I think we two girls have been there. Still, I like for ppl to be real and open but I've learned it takes trust and that's difficult to have here. :(
