I'm starting my annual Memorial Day movie marathon a little different this year.

I had a chance to record an Australian movie a couple of days ago: from 2010, "Tomorrow, When the War Began". Sort of reminded me of the old American movie "Red Dawn" with Patrick Sawayze. Almost all of the actors in this movie are now starring in other things. Great young cast!

Tonight it will be "Saving Private Ryan". Tommorrow, the complete "Band of Brothers"... before and after I visit family and friends at three cemeteries.

Oh, and Tighty? I'm not inviting you to this years' festivities out of respect for your distaste for war movies.

I watch war movies. There are only two that I walked out of due to too many memories and one that just made me cry too much. I cannot watch Platoon and Saving Private Ryan.

If you want to watch a very good Australian WWI movie (true story too) try Beneath Hill 60
