The gasline on my car emained frozen through Thursday. On Friday it warmed up to a whopping 40 degrees, and at long last my car started.
Riding public transportation three days in a row was a bit humbling, but educational. I met and talked with some very nice people during my journeys.
Having to walk nine blocks to get to the last bus-stop each day showed me that I'm still in pretty good shape. That makes this old codger smile.
Recieving several invitations for a ride home from work from fellow employees made me realize that I am blessed to have people think enough of me to offer.
All in all, it was a great experience. I learned. I grew. I am content.
