This morning I was watching a rerun of the 1960s t.v. western 'The Wild, Wild West'.

During the show, a middle aged actress delivered this line:

"Don't try to teach a grandmother how to suck eggs."

I'm 72 years old and have never heard that expression in my life.

Just what the Hell is it supposed to mean?
