What do all of the so called 'smart people' who bombard social media with political 'insights' do when the elections are over?

Depends on whether their candidate wins or loses.

Cry or boast.

It never stops.

It must be tough being a 'know-it-all'.

Hi Jake. I found it easier to just shut down social media. Too much misinformation and drama for me. Hope you are doing well.
