Growing up I went swimming often.
I was even a lifeguard for a couple of summers.
Yesterday I took a walk in upper 80s sunshine for about 30 minutes.
I was wearing an A shirt (what some call a tank top) and basketball shorts.
When I got home, I was ready to hop in the shower to wash away my sweat.
I peeled off my shirt
and saw sunburn on my shoulders.
From a 30 minute walk?
Another sign of aging...
you burn easier.
Today I wore a regular tee and had a wet towel draped around my neck.
I may be getting older, but I'm not stupid yet.
