Back in the day, I went out with a young lady once. We had a good time and at the end of our date I started to kiss her goodnight. She stopped me and told me she wouldn't kiss a guy who smoked cigarettes. It was a breath - taste issue. Touche', I thought and went my merry way.

A few months later, I see the same young woman out in a nightclub and we chatted for a bit. She told me she had noticed I wasn't smoking any more and asked me if I still wanted that kiss.

I said that it depends. She said on what? I said are you still xxxxxxxxxxx? She said yes and wanted to know what that had to do with it. I told her that that was why I was smoking around her before, to mask the odor of her breath. That's why I won't kiss you now, breath and taste issues.

I turned around and walked out of the club. Once back at my car, I reached into the glove box and pulled out a pack of smokes. I enjoyed that cigarette immensely.
