Had a remembrance ceremony for my dad on Wednesday where over 250 friends came to say goodbye - that was overwhelming - and about 100 of them came back to the house for further friendship and fellowship. Went back to the 'weekend house' where my dad died on Friday evening and just sent The Wife and the oldest daughter home this evening. I am staying with my mom for the remainder of the week to assist her with whatever she needs help with. You know these things will happen in life, but you just hope they will happen later in life. Remember to always hug the ones you love and don't get hung up on the small details unless they are SUPER important. Luckily my dad and I were in a good place at this time and had not argued for quite a while. Just regret that I did not call him Friday evening as I usually did.
