TNBuilder's blog post - Nasty weekend

And not in a good way!
This has been a nasty and Cold first weekend in May - set an all time record low temp -
Went yesterday to assist a friend in picking up an umbrella cockatoo that needed a new home which was enjoyable as I always love working with exotic birds and helping them live happier lives. Then visited with another friend who needed a quote on some home repairs and an alarm system after which we came home and watched the new Batman movie.
Shortly before we were going to bed, I pointed out that it sucked that I still had to make my bed before I could go to sleep sort of thinking that if I was The Wife, and I had *any* interest in sex, I would say do not bother sleeping upstairs tonight, just join me and you do not have to make the bed before you go to sleep, but no such luck. Forward to 45 minutes later after the movie is over and we are headed to bed. The laundry basket with my linens is at the bottom of the stairs. I put my laptop in it and The Wife walks off to plug her phone in at her bed. I have gotten used to her at least giving me a kiss before we go our separate ways and figure if I just walk off she will get upset, so I am waiting just standing there (feeling rather stupid) after a few moments, she looks up and asks do I need help? My answer is no, you usually give me a kiss before I go to bed, she makes a big deal of coming over to give me the usual perfunctory kiss with no tongue or passion. after which I go upstairs, make the bed and perve on here for a bit.
