TNBuilder's blog post - The Weekend goes from really good to Shi@

Those of you who 'follow' me know that we have exotic birds, thr biggest of which is a Moluccan Cockatoo, she has been my/our identity to a laarge extent for the past 11 years. Yesterday after writing my blog I put her in her harness so she could come with me and went to pick up The Wife from the auto repair shop. Picked her up and went to the local monthly flea market which she always loves because she loves people. We got there and The Wife was paying the entry fee while I went to get a paper towel from the mens room. Came out of the mens room and was getting some bird poop wiped off of me which was very unusual because she is potty trained and suddenly her legs gave way and she fell off my arm. I scooped her up and we immediately left the building and headed toward my vets office but to no avail. She was (most likely) gone before we made it to my truck. Absolutely no idea what happened! She was (we think) in her mid teens and should have lived many more years. All I know is that she loved and was loved by so many.
We did bury her which allowed us to finally bury our Amazon HOlly who passed 2 years ago who was her best friend.
