Went out last night with The Wife for a happy hour with some of my colleagues to a local brew pub. At first, I did not think I would stand any chance of getting lucky when we got home, but she had a double cranberry vodka and a hard apple cider plus tasting a number of other drinks. As the evening wore on, I made a joke about getting her drunk to get lucky ans so talk turned to sex and all kinds of suggestions on how to make her want it more ( I DID NOT tell anyone that we no longer have sex). The main theme seemed to be to withhold sex and she would want it more I said that you cannot hold back on something that is not happening, the ladies pointed out that if I am holding back, she could take matters into her own hands wither with battery powered devices or with 'long showers'. I really did hope that this discussion would help 'shame' her into offering sex this evening, but she just sat there and laughed at the entire thing, and acted 'loving'. After about 3 hours, we went home and sat down to watch TV for a while at which point she passed out on the sofa. After an hour, I turned everything off and we went to bed where, as usual, we faced opposite sides of the hated king size bed (hated, because I am sure that the reason she wanted it is to be able to be further away from me in bed).
