On Tuesday evening, The Wife was at a business meeting that was supposed to run from 5 - 9 PM, so I had invited The Ex to come over and I would make her dinner and have her for dessert. I could not get her on the phone all day and later found out that she had left it at home and gone to help our youngest daughter who just had a baby. As it turned out, The Wife was let out of her meeting early and suddenly showed up at home at 7:00. Damn good thing that The Ex was helping our daughter otherwise we probably would have been upstairs going at it hard and fast!
