Went out yesterday and finally paid off a watch that I have had in layaway for 2 1/2 years (I know the jeweler and it is a $500.00 watch) Figured since Iwas getting something for myself, I should get something for The Wife and maybe it would get her in the mood ... Nope ... Nothing .... I am not sure why I thought last night would be different than others .... I never stop hoping, maybe that is why the first marriage lasted as long as it did, I do not like giving up.

Oh, I ask, and I get lots of excuses (stress, money , etc ...) the problem is that these have been the same excuses no matter what the situation. She says let's go to bed earlier so we can make love and when I try she wants to watch TV, or we do and she just goes to sleep. It really is not for lack of trying. That is why I have been having an 'affair' with The Ex. She and I are clear on the fact that we could not live together, but we do get along well in bed and always have.
