Your favorite cheese ?
Cheese is so expensive now I consider it quite a treat to have the fancy brands.

Two of my favs are Dutch Baby Edem, it's a semi hard cheese only slightly softer than regular block cheese, very mild.

The other is Jarlsberg from Norway, it's a little harder than regular cheese and has more flavor than edem.

Do you have a favorite ?

Depends on what I'm making. I'm not much of a cheese eater so I don't just slice some off and eat it, it has to go in something. Mozzarella and Parm for pizza but sometimes Ricotta. Cheddar for mac n cheese or potatoes au gratin. Cheddar, Mozzarella or Muenster for grilled cheese. A little Muenster mixed with the Mozzarella goes good on pizza too.

2 cheese companies from Vermont come to mind. Cabot and Sugarbush Farms. Wide variety of cheese, but generally I'm a sharp cheddar fan!

:) :) :)
Proper Strong English Cheddar OR Irish Cheddar - American Cheddar is far too mild for me.

You may not think this is proper cheese but it's the only one I will eat feta.

Late to the cheese party, but.. Gouda, Parmesan, (real) mozzarella, camembert, brie, cheddar, emmental, fontina, feta... OK I don't have a favorite, I like a lot of cheeses. OK, maybe taleggio if I had to pick just one.

I *love* cheese!!
I can't pick a favorite, I think I would eat any kind of cheese except limburger, which I have not tried and have no desire to.
