Presidential election
November 5 is fast approaching and with record turnout in early voting + Wall Street + Vegas odds + reliable polling shows a solid Trump won.

Today, the Germans warned Trump to avoid tariffs.

Post-November 5 predictions.

1. Democrats lose their minds with severe rooting at bay run by the Dems and a stretching of the Constutitional rule of law in ????.

2. Tariffs: they are coming so get ready for them.

3. Ukraine-Russia War: it ends, NATO gets to learn to stand on its own and Putin may NOT be in power by Spring, 2025.

4. Green is done. It will continue as normal development but the Green-graft xxxxxxxxx.is done.

5. Communist China goes after Taiwan but not as predicted or thought and they lose. Xi is humiliated and China begins it descent into madness.

6. Israel is secured, Iran is done, Hezbollah and Hamas are exterminated and the expansion of the Abraham Accords begins with high expectations.

7. India leads a group to question BRICS but stays in it playing the Dollar versus BRICS for it's benefit.

8. Argentina leads the way for South America 2025.

9. Jamaica becomes a true leader in the Caribbean after Cuba implodes at last.

What is everyone else's predictions?

it is a tipping point in american politics one side proud of it's disdain for law, the constitution, tradition and people that have served their country with honor, all while shoving money in their pockets and escaping the law. the other side let them do it. yeah so wave a white flag vote red vote blue, keep believing they care about you. vote vote vote for shit to get worse.

Presidents aren't elected they're selected. We don't vote & could care less 🤷🏻 Two party narrative is an illusion, same monster different tentacles. Self sustainable small communites without government interferance is the way. Kennedy was the last legitimate president we had & Ron Paul was the last legitimate candidate. This election is a throwaway for the democrats, just paving the way for a Newsom landslide win in 2028, if we're not all dead.

If you think Newsom has a prayer to win much less a landslide then you are off the market on that prediction. Good points on the other stuff but Newsom has no pathway to national anything in 🇺🇲.

It's Not any of my business how you lot vote over the pond.
But do be honest and decide if there will be a future for all of us.

It sounds like you're still under the delusion that voting even matters. I sure hope you're right, but Newsom is the guy. They've worked really hard to totally fuck everything, now they can blame everything on Trump. When he won't/doesn't do a damn thing the people blame him and no one will question Newsom in 28.

Prediction: Trump will win. Not saying it's a good or bad thing, but he's going back in. Immediately after, many things will start to drastically change in the U.S. Again, not saying good or bad. What's fine for one person is perceived as horrible for the next anyway. But should the forum here allow, we'll have plenty to talk about later.

While your analysis of how things could be messed up, Newsom has no national appeal and would never get out of the Primary. A lot of potential candidates could win or be installed but Newsom is so far down on never making it nationally that embarassment.is barely worth it.

"What is everyone else's predictions?"

My prediction is that, like in every past forum topic here about politics, this discussion will rapidly descend into a party-political shit fight and exchange of insults and, like the whole "Politics" section previously on NN, will be deleted.

Yes exactly. This is why I said ''should the forum here allow''. There used to be a Politics section in forum, but it's one of those subjects that brought out the worst in people. The whole Politics section was binned by NN because of this. Gradually after that, talk of politics made its way back here in General Discussion and has been tolerated, but it would not be a huge surprise if threads disappeared again.

I sure hope they don't start deleting these conversations. I love this stuff & naked people to boot. It's like the perfect place. We should talk about homeschooling & vaccines next 😁

Oh man, vaccines?fp Would be worse than politics. Add homeschooling and we have the perfect recipe for forum disaster lol.

Say what you will about homeschooling but those students OUTPERFORM every student on the planet.

Public Schooling SHOULD be that good but teachers unions and Democrats have ruined it.

I will say that only being able to choose between Hillary, Biden, Kamala and Trump for the last three elections suggests to me that "the American experiment" is awfully close to its end

We're blessed that my wife's career allows me the opportunity to homeschool our little ones when the time comes. I'm not going to rant about the Rockefeller (governmental) system of schooling, I'll save everyone.

More truth than poetry in your post. I just got my voter's pamphlet. Most of the statements are exaggerations and lies. Typical politics. Sickening. On the national level, the rhetoric is different between the two parties but they're both bought and sold by the same interests.

I think the election is a toss up. The economy is bad, and has been mishandled through increased deficit spending, even post-Pandemic. If the economy is the main factor for enough voters, Trump will get in, there will probably be the predictable 'not my President' riots et al, and after it calms down perhaps the war in Ukraine will be settled through negotiations and maybe the economy will improve. Maybe.

If Kamala gets in (and she very well could) who knows where we'll be? WW3 anyone? Has Kamala even talked about Ukraine peace negotiations? Can she actually deal with a Putin or Xi? Putin may be a rascal but he's got nukes, and we're already in a proxy war with him -- he needs to be dealt with one way or another: either through peace talks, or more war. So which is it? Unfortunately, the war issue doesn't seem to be a deciding factor for most voters. But it's a pretty major one, nonetheless.

As for the thread, I think if we all keep our heads cool and figure out where the brake pedal is when needed, we'll be OK.

While a good point on candidate selection the American experiment is nowhere near an end.

Trump will win and then in 2028 there will not be Trump, Hillary, Kamala, Bush, you name it. It all changed with the election of Bush-1 in 1988 but REALLY changed in 1992 with Clinton. Who, btw, only got 42% of the Popular Vote. We saw from 1988 until 2016 either Bush, Clinton, blah, blah, blah. Trump has ended Bush and Clinton and will end the Obama nonsense on November 5. Then, it will be who is next that has no connection to any of them. Trump will do well and set Vance up for a run. Vance will do very, very well and see a better electoral moment going forward.

If the world is unfortunate enough that Trump wins, how long does anybody think it will be before Shady Vance invokes Article 25 and takes over with the full-on Project 2025? Trump is obviously not well and I'm sure Vance and the rest of the party know this and are just biding their time. I don't believe he will win anyway, although the one thing we all know is that he will claim to have won, whatever the result.

Chance of the 25th being invoked, should Trump get into office, is zero. The Democrats did not do that with Biden, even though everyone -- including them -- knew he had cognitive issues, which obviously weren't constant, but occurred often enough to make critically thinking people wonder who was actually running the WH. The Democrats were lying about Biden's issues up until they abruptly dumped him 70+ days before the election for giggles the cackling clown. They didn't invoke the 25th. They just covered up for the problem.

The D's weren't, and aren't, stupid. It is easier to exert power if you maintain a figurehead in place. There is less individual accountability for poor decisions when you have a WH (or other government) run by committee, with the figurehead merely going out and making the odd speech, avoiding press conferences, etc.

The only president that was actually running things was Kennedy & that's why they killed him. I had high hopes for Trump, but he blew it with me, although appointing Kennedy is promising.

Seems perhaps that you might simply have a choice between a gentle gov which the others might take advantage of, or a real nasty gov, that want's to smash them at all costs...

That could go either way. The Democrats have become the nasty government that does everything at all costs.
