I lost interest in the Olympics long ago. Only sport I follow is NFL football, some college football, some baseball (closer to the end of the season), maybe March madness if the games are on the radio.... Olympics? Nah. And I think one of the issues the Olympics have is there is so much entertainment out there on the 'net, so many alternatives. And after the Cold War finished, some of the 'rivalry' aspect disappeared.

So Daisy and I were just watching women athletes in Olympic swimming competitions and it occurred to me...why is Lia Thomas not there?

Why?

I've watched a bit of these summer Olympics because Daisy is more or less into it. Seen some exciting, spirited competitions for sure. But in any case, I'll never be happy seeing a woman being demolished, annihilated and pummeled into submission in a ring, no matter who is fighting. Does anyone get a good feeling out of this?

I think that men and women should compete in certain sports but not in a physical way.
There are more sporting skills than just muscle.
Of course, these "she men" are dreadful and disgusting.
