POACHED, on top of toast. I have this plastic egg cooker I got for $5 at walmart. you crack an egg into each bubble, put a bit of water in and cook in the microwave for a minute. super delicious with buttered toast dipped in. I hate fried eggs because of the greasy rim that forms, so this is a great quick way to cook them without added fat.

Poached. Mmmmm. Pan of boiling water, add vinegar, stir water vigorously to a vortex, crack egg in a bowl and pour into centre of whirlpool. Fish out with slotted spoon after heartmins. No egg cooker required.

Or scrambled. Or fried.

Poached is fine. Scrambled too. Fried over medium in just a little butter or olive oil is great. Omelet, sure. Hard "boiled" the right way with very tender whites. And deviled is divine.

Cajun omelet with shrimp, that sounds amazing. Best omelet I ever ate was in Lousiana. Crawfish tails, green onion and swiss cheese. Outstanding! thumbup

To get back to the original post,I used to stay at a farm camping site when I was younger, they sold unpasturised Guernsey milk, how can fat and water be fabulous? It was fabulous. English law, you can only buy unpasturised milk directly from the farmer, so farmers are now selling it on the internet!!!!!!

Ramakin eggs, you may have to adjust the timing a bit, butter a ramakin dish, break an egg into it and season. Place the ramakin dish in a shallow tray of water. Place several rashers of bacon (streaky, my fav) in another tray with some oil in (or lard).

Put both trays in the oven with a pitta bread on a shelf, set the temperature for 180C, set the timer for 10 mins before you get up, wake up to breakfast, hopefully of gooey eggs, crispy bacon and hot pitta to scoop it all up with. A timer on the coffee maker just adds to it all.
