Im to lazy to bake... no pita bread Im willing to eat can befound within 200 miles... so its not a traditional type souvlaki/kabab anyway....
I could drop "it" on rice....and hummis.. which Im actually liking the sound of..
Maybe Indian flat bread, computer indian, not casio Indian... chapati
1 1/2C whole wheat..
3/4 C all purpose flour
1/4t salt
1 1/4 T ghee.. vegtable oil.. or olive oil..
1-1 1/2 cups water...
Theres an oven method... but the time/effort thing isnt working..
soooo once you roll out your chapatis.. you toss them on an ungreased cooker thing... comal/griddle/fry pan... one minute per side to firm em up... then finish them on open flame.. I have a grill thingie I put over coals that works....
Chapatis puff like pita..... sooo that may solve my problem..
