Have you met any famous musicians?
I'm lucky to have met Bonehead from oasis. He is a lovely humble bloke. His lounge from the house he previously owned is the one on the front cover and back of the iconic definitely maybe album. He still owns a property in Manchester city centre but spends most of his time in dorset.

Working in the music business, I've gotten to meet many musicians, mostly in heavy metal.

One musician who gets shit slung at him a lot is Dave Mustaine. A lot of people slam him. But of all my experiences with him, it was nothing but pleasant. He treated me with respect and everything. I think people just shit on him just to be a part of the "in crowd" of just bashing him. But he was extremely nice to me.

Probably in the death metal and black metal fields of music. Norway and Sweden have notoriously produced many of those bands. I've done interviews with many of these bands, as well as played them on my radio show over the years.

There is a large pop and electronic scene in Scandinavia also, some of the pop actually very good. That's why I asked.

Famous?...you decide
Chris Isaak and Arturo Sandoval. I had the opportunity to talk with both at concerts and found them friendly and down-to-earth.

Cool. I hadn't heard of those, but some of the artists I've heard from over there that I like are Royksopp, Pow Pow, CLMD, Lionheads, etc. A lot of good music over there, much of which never makes it over the Atlantic.

Mr. Slash
Met him in a hotel lounge, he arrived and talked to us while he smoked his Marlboro, took pictures and was very nice to us all, until they called him to go to their rooms. He was with Snakepit at that time, not Guns. It was awsome, though thumbup1

I've meet a few metal bands, the most famous was System Of A Down at Nottingham Rock City in the late 90s. We had a good chat with them after the gig, nice chaps!

I met Martin Persner a former Ghoul of Ghost, I went to see his band Magna Carta Cartel in Belgium a few years ago. He took his time to talk to all the people that stayed behind to see him after the gig.
